Well I wouldnt call it a schooling, lol... but, you asked only for great fighters that didnt struggle with lower level fighters.

And then you try dismissing Roy Jones as an example, because of the DQ.

That he got DQd, isnt really relevant to if he struggled against a low level fighter or not. The fact is, that regardless of the DQ, he didnt struggle against a low level fighter, and so, fits your criteria.

You then try dismissing some other fighters, due to the level of resume they had. When, that wasnt really relevant to your question either. They still didnt struggle with fighters they shouldn't have.

That Vitali fought a bunch of Wallin level fighters, doesnt exclude him from being a great fighter that didnt struggle against a low level fighter. As for Byrd... I suppose only you know what you consider lower level but comparing him to Wallin, considering Vitalis shoulder injury and that Byrd was a world level heavyweight, is blasphemous to me lol, and not a genuine comparison to what happened to Fury.

I do get your overall point though, and its a point regardless if we can single out a handful of ATGs that may have not struggled against a low level fighter at some point.

Time will tell what this fight means for Fury. I look forward to finding out.

Indeed, but I’m trying my best to defend my own post lol. Roy Jones DQ was the best I could come up with.

Sliding in that Chris Byrd was an ex super middle was a bit of slight of hand also.

Ok. You win on those two haha

No mentions of HWs so far. Maybe it's harder to never struggle against inferior opposition as a HW, since one punch is more likely to make a difference.

And I wouldn't really say Fury struggled. He was badly cut, yes, but won a wide decision and didn't seem to be in any real danger of being stopped. You'd expect him to win easier, but "struggled"...

The fight was very, very boring, though. Even for me, who is a Swede. Brave effort from Wallin, but that was just about all to take from it.

Yup, I’m not the one starting a thread defending a fighters win. Like I said he won what’s the problem?
It’s all good that you think the Furys are great. Good luck to you

Did I say he was great? He’s one of the top heavies of this era. No doubt. How good is this era? Up for debate. How will Tyson be remembered when the big 3 plus Ruiz are retired. I don’t know.

I’m not some biased blinkered fury propaganda machine.
