He did what he was paid to do, turn up and try.

He had the Worst Fury ive ever seen in front of him with a terrible cut and obscure vision.

He didnt finish him. He faded badly in the second half of the fight and tbh he should be kicking himself for not getting the job done.

Is boxing that weak now that we give these guys massive credit for trying. They are supposed to try lol.

I like what Wallin did to Fury last weekend but he was not good enough to stop him. There were 2 things that I think were special for Wallin in the fight ,namely, his heart and his chin. He got hit cleanly many times in the late rounds but he didn't go down to the floor. He really came to fight. I will keep an eye on this fighter and support him.

He was payed to fight, and he did. Just like Fury, Ruiz, Joshua, Schwarts and so on. All of these guyed are also payed to "turn up and try".

Why critique Furys performance? He showed up and tried, didn't he?

Also, Wallin didn't look good because Fury had a cut. Wallin looked good because he cut Fury.

But no, he didn't win or finish him. As no one ever has. Does that mean you've never seen a good performance against Fury?

Debatable, i doubt ge tgrew that shot with the intention of causing a cut, he just threw trying to connect and it landed in just the right spot to cause a cut. Id say there was a bit of luck involved in that.

OK. He didn't performe any better than could be expected since he was payed to fight and the punch to the head that cut Fury was a lucky punch?

If you're not just a casual, what else are you?

Wallin could have landed that punch 100 times and it could have not caused tgat cut 99 of them.

Even with that cut he still couldnt capitalize.

We need to stop giving credit to boxers just for not jumping on the floor.

Wallin went from unknown Swede with a best win UD vs Zumbano, to turning the claimed best heavyweight in the divisions face into mush, almost KOing him in the 12th, and almost winning. Hhhmmm Maybe you dont like Rocky movies. Hats off to Wallin. It was a superb performance where he bamboozled the supposedly most skilled heavyweight in the world who was outmatched and outfoxed in the skills department for the first 6 rounds and had to rely on his brute size to win. Wish Wallin nothing but the best in his future career, he now has an army of fans win lose or draw.

Well first off kid Tyson Fury is always horrible. So every version of Fury is the worst version. Running from a old Wlad and landing 86 punches in 12 rounds and running from a unskilled Deontay Wilder and landing 84 punches in 12 rounds didn't make Tyson Fury good/great to anybody besides bias Europeans/Brits. Otto Wallin didn't prove anything that smart boxing fans didn't know about Fury. That Fury is just a loud simple minded Brit who is only marketed to a specific group of people. He is basically the Conor McGregor of boxing.

Seriously. Some mediocre no-hoper has a better night than expected and all of a sudden boxing fans go crazy. I don't know if have ever seen an identified group so easily influenced by isolated and likely meaningless events like this.

Fury got cut, had an off night, and the fight was closer than expected. Big deal, happens all the time in boxing.

Wallin lands more punches on Fury than Klitschko/Wilder combined. Whiny poo's be like "nothing special".

Wallin opens up Fury with worst heavyweight gash since Lewis opened up Klitschko. Whiny poo's be like "nothing special, I have a keyboard".

Wallin wins 5-6 rounds vs Fury. Whiny poos be like "I want to whine some more".

Wallin outboxes and outfoxes most skilled heavy in the world before gassing. Whiny poos be like "I vote Democrat"

Tyson Fury is not much different from Hugo Fury. Just better marketing/trash talk and carefully chosen opponents.
If Tyson Fluffy had to fight Hughie's competition he would have picked up a couple of losses along the way.

Just trying is not enough. See, I assure you Schwartz tried too. He just couldn't do anything.
