A proud Texan with Nigerian roots, Efe Ajagba is everything you could want in a heavyweight, athletic, explosive, devestating.

With Deontay Wilder in his mid 30s we need to look to the future, in Ajagba we have a wonderful talebted fighter who dare I say it may even be able to surpass Wilder in a few years time.

A mere 25 years old, i expect 1-2 years of Development fights, they could pit him against a guy like Filip Hrgovic, who Ajagba would easily destroy, but may learn a coupke of things en route.

If you're going to make claims like that, you've got to back them up. Why would Ajagba 'easily destroy' Hrgovic (widely regarded as one of the best upcoming HWs in the world)?

Ajagba has already taken big step ups in competition. Mansour, Wallisch and Demirezen are nothing to scoff at.
Efe truly is a promising talent and deserves attention.

I prefer howling winds from Siberia to be honest.

Im pretty critical of prospects... I remember the hype for Seth Mitchell, Helenius, Mesi, ect ect. Never believed they would be true forces in the division.

I gotta say that if he can take a punch halfway decently, and isnt an idiot outside the ring, Efe seems like a genuine threat to the throne, imo.

Cant wait to see how he develops. I think hes ready for tougher opposition.

I’m not sold on Ajagba, good puncher but stiff and lacking defense. That Turkish guy he fought last time was pushing him back and landing flush shots through the guard pretty easily, and tagging him with telegraphed overhand rights.

I rate him in the second tier of HW prospects below Dubois, Hrgovic and Yoka.

Well he wasn't exactly in with a no hope bum... On that matter... Don't rule out Demirezen bouncing back either. He's a legit prospect in his own right. Durable pressure fighter with decent pop. Has legit amateur pedigree too.

There are a lot of guys to be excited over now. I just hope they all get the opportunity to prove their worth. It's easy to get discouraged by politics and the lack of opportunity. But the ingredients for an extremely exciting HW division are there.

Yes for sure Demirezen is a decent fighter, i know he stopped Yoka in the amateurs but I see Yoka returning the favor in the pros. Could be a good fight to make.

great puncher.. but I dunno about his defence could be another AJ in the making in that department.

Efe has yet to fight or beat anybody worth mentioning. So Efe is devastating at doing what? Knocking out Uber drivers?
