Both Povetkin and Hunter are levels above Whyte and Parker

If Iraq doesn't call off its drones and Saudi's response doesn't escalate tensions, this card ain't happening....

Whyte would dismantle Hunter easily. Hunter is an average heavyweight, not in my top 15.

I couldn't care less about your top 15. Unroided Whyte gets slaughtered

Hunter wins this and his resume is starting to look impressive.

Sasha is getting old for these kinds of fights. Fury looked really vulnerable this weekend, so that's the fight he should try to make, earn a few more bucks and retire. And if Ruiz bears Joshua again, then that's another winnable option for him.

    Hunter - Povetkin...I'd pick Hunter...too quick.

    Good fight.

Hunter has the tools to outbox Povetkin from range, 5 inch reach advantage, fast hands and a really good jab, but if Kuzmin was finding a way inside and landing clean, hurtful punches I expect Povetkin will improve on that. Pov has much faster hands, hits harder and throws in bunches rather than single shots. I think he should get the stoppage here although Hunters youth and physicality might be too much.

You gotta be kidding me. Hunter is a cruiserweight and has a pathetic resume. He was going to be wasted against Kuzmin, he got caught very bad time to time. He is a bum.

Povetkin on the other hand is an Olympic medalist, has great amateur and professional career. Huge amount of experience and hits like a mule. I did not see any signs of aging in Hughie Fury match.

He recently destroyed giant Price in a devastating fashion.

Povetkin will TKFO this bum in 7.

Yes, a passing of the guard fight between a guy who once briefly held the WBA "regular" belt and a guy who may someday briefly hold the WBA "regular" belt.

It's a good even fight between two fringe top 10 guys. But I don't think anyone is passing anything on.

I'd give Hunter a slight edge, based on his hand speed, and the fact that Povetkin seems to eat everything thrown his way these days.

I think you're reading into it too much. Povetkin is an "old guard" contender along with Pulev and Ortiz. Hunter is "new guard" and should be around for awhile.
