Canelo “No more fights with Golovkin, I already beat him!”

When you look at what Canelo is doing and how willing he has been to step up it makes GGG look worse in that comparison as well, especially since GGG had that chatter about going to 168 to fight Ward. Canelo has shown that he is a man of action, GGG is more talk. That bubble has burst, GGG needs to do something to revive his career.

 

Totally lost the little to none respect i have left for Canelo.
He should have lost both fights against Golovkin and it wasnt even close. No matter how you score the fight Caleno clearly lost both of them.
Its easy to box when you know no matter what, at the end judges going to ift you a decision.

 

the flipside of this Kirk is that Canelo is already loaded and a loss does more damage than good to his long terms career.

I also think that with every passing day the odds favour Canelo more. GGG is on the slide and even though I had GGG winning both bouts I can still see this from Canelo's point of view, he will get kudos from his fans and very similar money for fighting Kov and others similar. Canelo's career from here on in will be cherry picks like the Kov fight. he wont lose to Kov he will run right through him, Kov doesnt wanna be there no more IMO.

I think Canelo genuinely believes he beat GGG and has only gotten flack from it so he will be thinking why should i go through that again even when I win I get abuse.

its wrong for canelo to claim he beat him twice though, if he really said that. He only beat 3G once, he should be fair and say that.

to be fair to him though, since i should always look at the other side, any single canelo MW win is worth more than 3Gs entire MW resume.
