That's something I'd love to see. Man has earned it acting the bollocks in Dublin for the last few years.
If he doesn't go in there to go easy on him (because of a generous backhander or something)Keeler toys with him. I'm sceptical because of this. I doubt it happens, the cat is long out of the bag on McGregors limited boxing ability even among casuals I believe, so what is there to gain from this unless they pull Keeler to the side and ask him to play ball
Would have hoped they would sneak a medal, Kurt had the best chance going out, performed well in a tough weight division. Nevin was unlucky the last day hes still young. Walsh boxed well, close bout also. The aim would always have to be one medal. The High Performance will be disappointed. I said at the start of the year this senior team would do well to qualify two for the Olympics (Joe Ward was still amateur then) , and I still stand by that. The women will qualify more boxers than the men
Congratulations to Stephen Donnelly winning Ultimate Boxxer 5. He won it with ease with two stoppages and a UD points win. Loved the final when he hammered his braggadocious opponent. Don't know where this will lead but certainly raises his profile a little.
Ha years ago when I heard he was hanging around the Kinahans and my mate caught him trying to climb the walls of the nightclub he was working at, for which McGregor was kicked out. Hadn't bought a single drink there too and kept going to the jacks. You can put two and two together I'm sure.
Cheers Shovel hook. I was just checking to see you weren't one of the Johnny come lately types jumping on the bandwagon to kick a man while he's down, that's all. For what it's worth I was always critical of Conor s involvement in MMA and have consistently called for it to be banned.
