Devin Haney is only 20 years old and really green, but I know that kid can fight. I want to see this fight and I want to see it soon, this year or next. Clearly Loma will be the heavy favourite, but boy if Haney pulled this of... what a sight that would be.
Lomachenko would be the heavy favorite right now, due to Haney's age, and lack of top 10 ranked opponents, although the last guy was probably better than Crolla and Easter, he hadn't fought anyone either. Haney definitely looks like he has a hell of a chance right now, and that chance will only improve. Loma will probably look to fight a different mandatory first, so I'd like Haney to whoop Easter's arse, as a statement type fight. They've already had some back and forth in the past.
I hope we see this fight before Haney grows out of the division. Loma already said his top priority is to unify so he has the aTeo-Commey winner in his sights. Tank just moved up to 135 yet we never hear any of Tanks fans calling out Haney. Two young up and coming American fighters and none of their fans seem to want to see them fight. What’s up with that? I like Haney and believe he has a great shot at being a champion, but he’s only 20 and I think he needs more experience before he steps up in class. Tank has a big mouth on Twitter but seems to get shy whenever Loma calls his name. I’m hoping Tank fights Loma in 2020.
If you cant crack, you arent gonna stop Loma from doing what he wants to do and Haney doesnt hit hard. Loma would beat his ass
