We are going to see how important a focused AJ is in the rematch.

People are forgetting that AJ wasnt focused properly only on Ruiz in the first fight. He was thinking about Wilder and wanted to get an early KO.

His body language was shocking in the first fight, as if he was injured or coming in having been sparked in sparring.

Ruiz Jr was the most focused he is ever going to be in the first fight. There is no way he will be as hungry in the rematch.

We are going to see what a fully focused and hungry AJ can do in the rematch. AJ hasnt turned into an average fighter over night. People are really over rating Ruiz Jr now too.

You may be right - and I do admit it is 50/ 50

But I still can't help thinking Ruiz may get to him again....

That's why I deleted, because it was stupid.

He didn't post a single photo from the gym, he was on the road all the time, till yesterday. Thank God he started training hard again yesterday.

...sorry, Chuck, pet peeve of mine, I don't allow deleted posts in my threads. :nusenuse: They clutter up the joint, I hate the way they look aesthetically. You're free to edit if you don't like your original post's content, but deletions put me in a blind rage and I always undo them on principle when I see them (at least in my own threads). :sisi1

@Bustajay does it a lot, so does @Boxed Ears, drives me up the wall.

i remember maggie thatcher's attempt to connect with those youths with her "just say 'clutter is for nutters!' and put your stuff in something or another; when in doubt ask your mother!" campaign. it didn't exactly roll off the glottis. :ohno silly dame ought to have rung nancy reagan.

Yeah, I don't think anybody picking Joshua to avenge is thinking KO. If they are, they're brain-dead (or just supremely naïve, optimistic, and obsessed w./ AJ).

I think Ruiz's aggressive come forward style will force AJ to fight and open up. AJ was quite comfortable against timid Parker and Takam.
I think if he does win it will be by KO. Ruiz will force him to fight.

I'm thinking this will be a Schmelling moment for Joshua rather than Ruiz being his boogeyman. It's risky but I'm saying Joshua blasts Ruiz out inside 3.

If AJ fights negative he wins on points
