Fighters who hated boxing

GSP has great character and great will. That story of meeting his old bully was classy and made me question what I would do in that situation.

 

Ali while i think enjoyed boxing...he had a distain for training...he did it..but he always said he disliked it

 

I think Mayweather hates boxing. He’s so self absorbed he just holds contempt for the fighters and the fans. Even his own fighters. His fans reflect this as they seem to hate boxing.

 

Mike Weaver. Pretty sure he said something along the lines of "If a fighter says he fights for anything other than money, he's either lying or crazy"

Buster Mathis Jr. Is a guy that is mostly forgotten about but he was a really good fighter just like his dad. I remember reading once that he really only boxes to be close to his father and he pretty much retired shortly after he died. He could fight though he just didn't have the drive to become elite. I think he is a teacher now.

Chris Eubank said he hated boxing and that it was a mugs game but he said a lot of things. He's still involved in the game through Jnr.
