Their interests lie ingoing undefeated against fighters from former Soviet territory, not each other.
Record books have descriptions of how the fight went. Sorry buddy, everyone will know. And we have internet and television to see it as well. You lose.
Everyone will know? LOL You're delusional! People have watched the fight and peoples opinions are split. Time will not change that. It's not like 50 years from now, people will see the fight, be in total agreement and change the decision in the record book. You like that idea don't you? The "OFFICIAL" record is, Canelo 1-0-1 against Golovkin.
Ignorance is bliss, you really are brain damaged. Records in a sport as corrupt as boxing means jack **£££
So now records don't mean anything? So G's fantastic ko run means nothing? Hops great run at middle weight means nothing, JCC's undefeated run means nothing, Marcinao's and Mayweather's undefeated record mean nothing. So let's just disregard anything that isn't consistant with what we want. Lable it as something bad and discredit the entire system because our hero lost a close fight. But if that same system had Kov winning against Ward and Golovkin winning against Canelo, you would remain silent. And you have the nerve to call me ignorant!? LOL
This fight could never happen............... Ward would not leave Oakland to fight in Vegas Canelo would NEVER fight outside of Vegas. he needs his NSAC & vegas body guards to ensure a win. Best thing to do is put em in a concrete cell lock the door & let em go at it. hopefully they'll destroy each other & improve the boxing scene lol
I'm a certified Ward and Canelo hater, but there's only one winner here and its obvious who it is. Canelo does well against boxers and sluggers because he's brilliant defensively and super quick to counter. His little flashy combos are a pleasure to watch and he's got plenty of power at middleweight to get the respect of guys. Boxer types - even really good ones like Jacobs - give him a chance to show off his talents. Ward, however, is the anti-Canelo. He's huge compared to Canelo and he's as awkward as **** to fight. Canelo won't be able to hurt him. He will potshot Canelo and wrap him up if ginger tries to counter, probably leading with a nice butt to the nose. He'll wrestle and maul on the inside and whack Canelo's body hard. He's not going to let Canelo get into a rhythm and he's going to make ginger work hard all the time, emptying that gas tank. Ward himself doesn't have the power to hurt a guy with a cement chin like Canelo outright, but when its the 10th or 11th and Gasnelo is on fumes, having been wrestled all night and probably eaten a few nutshots while the ref wasn't watching, he will crumble. Ward has a great gas tank and is real tough. Horrible matchup for Canelo and not one I would recommend for him.
Ward would outclass/spoil his way to a decision! Ward would win nearly every round, but it would likely only count as a majority/split decision!
Same here, I'd be hoping Canelo could pull it off, mainly because Canelo has never been in a boring fight and he's really good to watch. But yeah, Ward beats him.
