He fought fairly negative the first time around, and got dropped 4 times and stopped.

Actually he was doing fine until he clipped and dropped Ruiz. When he went for the kill he got clipped and never truly recovered

Actually he lost the first, and barely won the second, it could be argued he didn't. Ruiz was in control from the opening bell.

75% Ruiz stoppage, 25% AJ points decision.

There’s no way AJ is gonna go in all guns blazing on Ruiz after getting clipped last time. He can try and control the fight better, be extremely negative and maybe nick it. I feel Ruiz will eventually catch him and end it though, he’s gonna be extremely confident.

No, he clearly lost concentration but was unharmed, but that only served to get Andy majorly pissed, and he immediately took control afterward. So dropping Andy might not be the best idea either.

    Here's what I saw
It was a close fight. Both men boxing well.
Andy made the mistake and got 2 pieced and went down like a sack of potatoes.
AJ knows he cant trade with Andy so in the rematch he will wait for his openings, clock him when he can. Then go back to boxing
Ruiz was in survival mode and ate massive shot before landing his big shot which changed the entire fight.
Similar to the punch that Marquez caught Pacman with. Except that punch was game over

You can be in control in a game of football and then concede a goal from a set piece. Likewise in boxing you can control a round or rounds of boxing before getting dropped.

Well you and that clown @Boxingfan200 who liked this post are both wrong. Rewatch the match. It wasn't close at all.

The first round Ruiz won easily, the second was close, the third Ruiz's 2 knockdowns trumps AJ's 1. The fourth was close, but Andy edged it, the 5th, 6th, and 7th, were all Ruiz. So that's 5 clear Ruiz rounds, 2 maybe could go to AJ.

Yes Andy made that mistake, hopped right back up like nothing happened, but did you notice he never put himself in that position again? He walked him down responsibly, never putting himself in range for an uppercut or left hook, all the while jabbing him to the body, until he gassed, then took him out when he started dropping his hands. If he follows that same game plan, he wins the rematch easily.

Ruiz's game plan for the rematch: Try and stop AJ or render him unconscious by punching him in his head and body with hard, fast punches.

aj will easily win a ud this time if he stays calm.. only lost because he got power happy and started swinging with everything.. his chin isn't good enough to do that vs top fighters as was shown.. I doubt he makes same mistake again.. if he does well then he's not as bright as I thought he was.

You're literally deluding yourself, as is everyone else with this take. He didn't get power happy and start swinging, what the hell are you talking about?:dunno He hit a two punch combo that dropped Ruiz, then threw about two more punches, got rocked and dropped himself, and was systematically dismantled for the next 4 rounds while he was moving away on the backfoot. He didn't make any mistakes, he tried to capitalize but Ruiz is just really good at landing counters in the heat of battle. He didn't go to war. What match did you all watch exactly?

Do yourself a favor and rewatch it.

I took a look at the Parker fight a few days ago. Ruiz is noticeably more muscular and strong looking now. The level of fat looks about equal.

Don't see Joshua risking a tear up in the rematch. He's got that respect now. Dull split decision win for the bodybuilder, in a very negative fight in my opinion. I thought Joshua was winning until he got scrambled by that big disgusting b!ob in the 3rd. It probably did change the course of the fight. Mr olympia was concussed and asking his trainer what was happening to him. Lol.
