Besides Ezzard Charles and that's iffy, I can't think of one. Sure, some may pose problems in the beginning but I can't see one winning. Archie Moore or Michael Spinks might be able to make some noise at first, but I see them getting put down ultimately.

I menat a prime Liston or prime Foreman. I'd pick Archie Moore over the Liston of 1954 also.

Maybe Michael Spinks on a miracle night? Maybe Roy Jones of the Ruiz fight could run from foreman all night. But I don’t think he lasts. I don’t see Roy beating Liston any night though. Chris Byrd would be my logical candidate for both of them. Think it would be a hard matchup for Archie

Probably a guy like Usyk who uses lots of movement and has size of his own.

    Edit: nevermind, I see LIGHT-heavy.

    That's an uphill task.

Quite a few, but to be fair there were a lot of great fighters at 175 and a great light heavyweight can sometimes be a nightmare to even the best heavyweights, but to name a few.

    Archie Moore
    Ezzard Charles
    Kid Norfolk
    Harold Johnson
    Billy Conn
    Michael Spinks
    Antonio Tarver

The problem is, we have no idea when his prime was.

He could very well have been past his prime during those years.

Around early 1963 there was talk of a LIston-Harold Johnson fight. When Johnson lost his title to Willie Pastrano that ended talk of that match. Had that bout taken place, Liston would have been the favorite but I don't think it would be a one-round blowout like the Patterson fights. Johnson was a master defensive boxer and he was more than capable of taking Sonny into deep water. Johnson did outpoint Eddie Machen, who took Liston the distance in 1960. Liston's fights usually ended early, so Johnson could have made things interesting if he got past the early rounds when Liston was most dangerous. Same goes for Foreman.

He may hang in there for a while, but I don't see him winning, but I suppose one can make him a live underdog.

Roy vs either one would be like dodging cars in traffic. All it would take is for one to hit you and you're threw.
