    I'd pick Pulev to beat Layne,Mathews,Lastarza, Cokkel,so why would it be demeaning putting him in with Rocky?

    The respect shown in boxing gyms compared to online so called historians is crazy. Most in gyms really have respect for guys who reach a good level. This sport really isnt easy. Yet when you go online all these so called historians are just calling world level guys bums and nothings. Really is a disconnect. These armchair guys will never it. Pulev is no ATG but the guy is a good solid fighter. He has developed his style and it has worked vs most opponents at a good level. Good judge of distance, great jab and strong. I guarantee he has tons of kids in his country who would love to get to his level. But all you experts log online and all these guys who have been watching from the TV for 30 years are just dismissing him.

    As true demagogues, Marcianistas require no proof for their accusations.

    They miss the point that sensible people are not derlding their hero but are in fact deriding them.
