There are no sure things in boxing. No matter how calculated the risk. Just ask Marcus Browne & Peter Quillin. I predicted the Angulo and Pascal upsets by the way.
Sanchez might be a lot things but he's right, nobody knows ggg Canelo and kova better than him especially since ggg spar with kova, Kova is done Canelo is going to stop him, and CJ is going to be in suicide watch, I'm willing to bet anything on that.
It’s boxing, anything could happen. Especially when you have a guy who can punch, and a guy moving up a couple of weight divisions. It wouldn’t blow my mind if Kovalev won, I just don’t really see how it could happen.
Canelo has struggled to stop GGG and Jacobs as well as teeny weeny Cotto. So if he stops the BIGGEST and strongest opponent he has faced so far then its a dead cert he is 100000% on some excellent PEDS.
All those three fighters fought to survive. Cotto with his arm punches unwilling to commit. Jacobs not throwing meaningful punches. Golovkin hiding behind his jab and not much else. All played it safe.
I don't think hes being truthful, hes just showing that bum lick attitude again he showed towards Canelo after the GGG return..Sleazy is correct..I got him below JDJ though, now that's a boy i'd tie to the back of Mule and give it a wallop on his behind to take him out in to the desert never to return. I'd sacrifice a Donkey for that and I like Donkeys !
The buildup to this fight is like the Twilight Zone. There is nothing at all in Canelo's resume history that suggests at all that he'll win this fight. I'm just flabbergasted
Like him or not Abel knows what he sees in the ring. Canelo will slip Kovalev and punish him to the body.
