Why didn't GGG think of fighting Kovalev, or something similar?

RayBogan has it all ass-backwards. Jaysus, he's nearly as dumb as Herol and that's saying a lot :ohno

You have fun arguing with this prize dunce, Lance, I am going to bed  I had a good few laughs at this intellectually challenged special needs case trying to hang with the big boys :D

But don't feel bad, Ray, you still have a use in the world.

Next time I have a hard time taking a dump I'll just think of you and the chocolate fountain will come bursting forth! :fufu

    LOL

So long as Golovkin rejected a fair even 50-50 split and demanded a 164 catch weight , there would NEVER be a fight. He knew what he was doing and those demands were made to kill the fight Dead.

You show your bias when you pathetically try to argue a 50-50 split was a bad deal. Kovalev didn't get a 50-50 split , but he didn't care because he actually wanted to fight Ward , unlike GGG.

Woah woah woah... bad comparison. Monzon's 160 era was infinitely stronger than Golovkin's, as was Haglers.

I like when a fighter stays put and establishes an entire legacy at a single weight.

This thread really shows that deep down these ***** idiots on here know GGG still hasn’t been legitimately defeated :D Or else they still wouldn’t be bad mouthing him more than KOVALEV of all people.

STFU Dino... Ward insisting on a 50-50 is what always will be the fight killer.

Ward was the P4P #1 and was the A-side , he was the one in position to make the contract and pay GGG half of the money . GGG was in position to get half of Wards Jay Z money as well as half of the revenue generated by the PPVs. GGG wasn't paying Ward , Ward was paying GGG.
It would have been a career high pay day for Golovkin and a chance for him to beat the P4P#1. He had no reason to reject the fight. He did so purely because he didn't want to take the risk. He simply ducked it.

Explain to me how GGG deserved to get a higher share of the purse that would be floated by Ward and his team? Don't give a stupid answer like - because he sold out venues.
He had to be relegated to stub hub center after the first Canelo fight fell through cos he wasn't big enough to hold down the venue by himself. And he still wasn't able to sell out the stub hub.

P4P doesn't have sh*t to do with being an A Side, which Ward was not anyway. Dumbsh*ts like you who think P4P means something

You have no freaking clue about money here, just like you had no clue on DAZN's going after 3G. You are the epitome of ignorant Dino...

Explain why GGG deserved more than 50% of the purse??. If you can't answer don't bother responding.

He was active, he was hot at the time being hyped by HBO, he was selling out venues in record time. What did Ward do to deserve a 50-50 split? Be inactive for a couple of years, sue his promoter, not able to even sell out his home venues, or was it crap rating for his fights?

He was active, and he was hot? LMAO!

    Here are facts:

    Oct. 2015- GGG-Lemieux 150K PPVs
    Nov. 2016- Ward-Kovalev 165K PPVs

Being active means nothing. Floyd didn't earn less than Marquez after two years in retirement. He made 10M , Marquez made 3M.

Both Ward and Golovkin have similar ratings and PPV buys. 150-170K.

A fight between them would have done way more. Just like Fury and Wilder aren't big draws by themselves , but against each other they generated 350k buys.

Ward and GGG were the two best fighters in boxing at the time and a fight between them would have been bigger than Wards against Kovalev and GGGs against Lemieux and Jacobs. The fight would have been huge.

GGG happily took a 50-50 split against Brook cos he was a welter weight and Jacobs who wasn't top 15 P4P got around a 40% split against him.
Laughable and desperate to argue that Ward who was the P4P#1/2 wasn't deserving of an even split of a purse that would be entirely floated by him and his promoters , against a guy who was no bigger a draw than he was.

GGG was to get a much better deal than Kovalev as Ward had promoters over paying him far more then he was worth. He wouldn't give the same deal to Kovalev because he wanted to be well compensated for taking such a risk against the bogeyman one division UP.

Ward had no fear of GGG whatsoever and wanted that fight badly which is why he was prepared to share his purse evenly with him.

GGG flat out rejected it. He had no balls to test himself against one of the best fighters in boxing. Unlike Golovkin , Ward and Canelo did and took those challenges , twice.

Lets also remind ourselves that GGG wants no part of Callum Smith , but we're to believe he wanted Ward? lol!!! :drooling:

You are wasting your time, they are emotionally attached to little gigi, they are not able to deal with reality and they will deny it until the last consequence, it doesnt matter. The will tell you that monroe jr would win to chávez jr for instance, or that ishida is a wonderful win. They will say literally whatever, and they, in their deep inside, will believe it, because they cannot afford not to believe it. Why are they so emotionally attached? no clue, dude, for me it makes no sense at all.

Unless you are so bored that you have literally NOTHING better to do than wasting your time here... I would move on and go to another thread if you feel like to talk about boxing.

GGG earned just 2.0M against Lemiux , a fight that was on PPV.

The argument GG was a bigger draw and deserved MORE than Ward is total garbage peddled by haters who have to feed themselves a steady dose of lies in order to get over the fact that GGG ducked Ward. :risas3:

I know , most of the time its not even worth engaging as they will never lose if they are prepared to push lies as their main point of argument.

It very clearly burns their asses raw knowing that GGG ran away from Ward!!!
