Why didn't GGG think of fighting Kovalev, or something similar?

Just like they say that Ward was not serious about fighting GGG because he was already fighting Lemiuex, BUT what they pretend didn't happen is that the offer was sent for 2016 and the Lemiuex fight was in 2015.

GGG was not a draw back when Ward called him out. GGG had a PPV and it bombed. He was no more of a draw than Ward was in fact Ward was more of a draw than he was back then.

    Thats true.

The contract sent by Ward stated that he would have a tune-up while GG fought Lemiuex and they would then fight after in 2016.

Apparently the deal was rejected in 36mins. GGG had bigger fish to fry against Wade and Kell Brook!

Infinitely is a strong word, stronger yes but nothing that great that you wouldn’t expect them to move up, especially guys who call for this type of thing all the time.

If GGG has their level of competition today I guarantee the same people would be calling it week and for him to move up regardless.

Ward wasn’t filling out venues, Ward has never been a draw outside of a certain group of people.

GGG isn't really a draw himself he's been eating off of Canelo for too long.

Ward fought 4 times in over 5 years against club fighters while he sued his terminally in manager. Then he fought Kovalev who beat his ass but didnt get the nod. On the rematch Ward did a very good impersonation of Andrew Golota while ref Tony Weekes looked the other way. Kov was robbed AGAIN!! Then Ward ran for the hills & retired to avoid the young guns. Tell me how the hell this resume makes Ward rate P4P #1 ???? #1 obnoxious ass maybe

ROFLMAO In every poll Ive seen GGG's legacy DWARF's Clenelo's. The majority of boxing fans still regard GGG as unbeaten World Middleweight Champion & that includes the great Mexican fans too

By selling out arenas when Canelo was at 154?

GGG over 2 rounds is far more enjoyable to watch than billy goat freestyle Ward.

He’s horrible to watch, very successful with what he does, but wrestling, low blows, head butts, running at people over 12 rounds certainly isn’t my idea of fun....and that’s why GGG sold and Ward never really caught on despite his achievements.

Was Ward ever a PPV fighter in the states?

I'm not sure why the GGG fans pretend that Golovkin is this warrior who wants to take on the best. He's not a bad fighter, but he isn't a fighter who fights for his fans or his legacy.

You mean the same weeks you said did a great job and called it right down the middle wheh he let maidana maul and foul pbf all night long? Dont change it up now because the fighter you liked didn't get the win. Ward made kovalev quit he bullied the bully.

Because Golovkin is content on fighting hopeless bums till he retires, and his fans love him for it. He stepped up once against a smaller opponent and lost.
