Here are three reasons why this fight reeks of corruption:

    1. Carnelo's call out of Kovalev literally came out of nowhere. There weren't even whispers, ever, of the two sharing a ring.

    2. Carnelo hung a death sentence (rehydration clause) around Jacobs' neck, but boxing's number one diva didn't bother with a catchweight or rehydration clause for Kovalev.

    3. Kovalev is promised TWO fights on DAZN upon a loss—anyone ever hear of such an absurd agreement/reward for losing? To be clear, this isn't a three fight deal. It's only if Carnelo wins.

That's a crazy butthurt response. Don't get so emotional. Carnelo doesn't know who you are and he doesn't care about you.

Not really. Oscar was angry that Pac jumped ship to Top Rank and wanted to punish him for it. And Oscar had fought another welterweight one fight ago and Pac was P4P 1 or 2.

Bet Oskar De La Hoya set it up thinking Kovalev getting over the hill .
Just because Pacquiao destroyed Hoya . That's when De Hoya realised his over the hill an thinks Kovalev will lose because of those factors ...
One thing for sure Kovalev is not De Hoya .
Kovalev much harder then Hoya ever was that age . Yep U could be right Kovalev will need a KO to get the win .
Definitely won't be easy as De La Hoya thinks ..

    My guess

A fix is already in place for a Canelo UD. Kovalev has accepted it as long as it isnt ridiculously wide on the cards so he keeps his dignity and some marketability left (esp if he can score a KD or hurt Canelo).

Canelo then develops into an even bigger sports star and the Mexican community continue paying PPV to watch him fight.

Floyd Mayweather... at 154. But Floyd is much bigger than Pac, so Oscar was okay w/ 147 because Pac was jumping up 2 weight classes.

Lol did floyd (who moved up to junior middleweight) fought a zombie dehydrated delahoya? Or a healthy past prime delahoya?

Like I’ll bother and read a mental turd’s “reezonz b3haind Canelo“.

Here’s one reason behind your mental illness:

    1) Canelo beat Golovkin

I literally just told you. Oscar was one fight removed from fighting a welterweight at 154. He thought that he could make 147 and still have enough to beat a 135 pounder moving up. A severe miscalculation, but nothing points to a fixed fight.

If Oscar had beaten Pac, he would have had a close decision lost to the P4P #1/2 and then a victory over the P4P #1/2.
