Did Ali ever fight a 250 pound 6’6 heavyweight champion?

Joshua has not fought a 6’2 speedy heavyweight like Ali yet in his career, but with uysik on the rise there is still time for him.

I think when Joshua’s career is said and done in ten more years we will be able to draw a conclusive decision how this fight would go, but I have do admit I do not know if Ali ever fought a Heavyweight like Joshua before, but I know Joshua has not fought one like Ali just yet.

A prime 1967 Muhammad Ali vs a prime Anthony Joshua, a fairly decent fight. It should be pointed out that AJ being the taller of the two would find it difficult to land his kayo punch against a fleet footed opponent with super reflexes, and with very superior speed. Terrell was predicted to give Ali trouble with his height, but Muhammad made him look very average and inept. While it can be pointed out that Ali was decked by Henry Cooper, on June 18 1963, he arose to win that fight before taking Sonny Liston's best shots, in his next title winning encounter, in 1964. Against Joshua, Ali would move and flick out the snake like jab, followed by swift combos to Joshua's face. He may even taunt Anthony, remember AJ has more of a suspect chin. Also it should be pointed out that Ali was a master of getting into an opponent s' head. Ali would avoid the potent Joshua right hand. While Muhammad is not a devastating puncher, he would tire out Joshua to score an 11th round stoppage. Not saying that AJ is not a good quality fighter, he just would not be able to cope with all the intangibles that a prime Ali possesses. during this imaginative encounter.

I do not think anybody has seen enough of Ruiz fights to say one way or the other where Ruiz fights in to heavyweight boxing now, or historically.

also like many others I would like to see the rematch to draw any conclusions from the first fight. If Ruiz loses in dramatic fashion, and I am definitely not saying that I think he will, then I will have to rethink my conclusion from the first fight.

AJ shatters Ali's jaw into a million pieces inside two rounds. Post fight he parts the Atlantic Ocean so Ali can get home despite being on a flying restriction.

You proving my point thank you. If a 6'2 chubby Ruiz Jr can easily destroy Joshua? What makes anybody think ali couldn't?

I was the first man to say Joshua aint no demigod and he can be beat on exchanges.

I got laughed at by rose tinted AJ fanboys thinking AJ was unbeatable had little weaknesses

Its the same story always on this forum

    Usyk unbeatable
    Fury unbeatable

    Same ****

Usyk doesn`t leave his head on the center line like AJ did after flooring Ruiz, he is far harder to counter, plus he`s a southpaw.
