To be fair, boxing is driven by money and it is needed to get fights made, where it happens and sadly even heavily influences outcomes in fights.
Quite possible these dismal figures actually diminish Fury's chances to beat Wilder on points in the rematch.

Why do i need to shill? Whytes works speak for itself... entertaining, sold out arenas... millons of ppvs

If the drama from the fury fight kept you on the edge of your seat you must be a real boring ****er

The numbers whether you like it or not carry huge signifance for boxing but you are too dumb to appreciate

You are clearly in the 1 percent who find him entertaining as no one attends fury fights but they attend and appreciate whyte

    Thats the reality

Poor marketing. Only way to explain it.

If Hearn was promoting Fury, they would regularly be filling out the O2 arena fighting even John the Salford taxi driver

Fury is boring no one is impressed by his antics or his dull performances snd shitty match making

all these twats on here that claimed Fury is more popular or a bigger draw can go **** themselves, i told them to do that last year and now its proof that you cant beat cold hard numbers like whytes especially for a guy who is not even s champ

    Whyte does makes the best
Match making to please fans, fury aint about the fans and yet clueless head over heels feminines on here still love him to bits like females who get abused and treated like ****

I don't think he'd have done this at the time with AJ being top dog, but I think signing with Matchroom might've been a better idea. Hearn knows how to promote a show and I think Fury would sell fairly well here.

Him vs AJ is still a huge fight and would sell well at Wembley. I liked Matchroom's plan of no-hoper, Bellew, Whyte, AJ.

Cool! Enjoy. How long are you spending over there?

I think if he'd signed with Matchroom in June last year he'd outsell Whyte domestically but not AJ.

Dont lie to yourself... he had three fights including one against Wilder and he is promoted by Frank Warren and ESPN... all the bug money makers over there and yet he still performs badly in consistent fashion

Well it remains to be seen, i know what the fans like, whyte knows what the fans like... an underdog with KO power who always shows up on form to fight his heart out and go out on his shield, whyte has it all.

Ill be over there for 4 nights always been my dream to visit Chicago!

I think Fury has a far bigger profile than Whyte, especially domestically, and is definitely a bigger draw. Just my opinion though and pretty difficult to say for sure. I'm a fan of Whyte's too as you know though so I don't have any agenda here.

Great, hope you have a good time. Try one of the Chicago style pizzas.

Fury has a poor brand and constantly works to undermine himself with ill-thought out comments insulting other fighters and fight fans. His fights carry the possibility for a bit of drama, but more often than not they're quite dull. He's not consistent in this regard.

And Wallin was a completely unknown opponent and widely seen as a massive cherry pick after cherry pick Schwartz.

It's really not surprising why it's not done well, and Fury is getting some much needed karma for his antics.

Perfectly said, you reap what you sow.

No benefit whatsoever to that ***** boy rasclart cherry picks.

He turned his back on his fans and the public when will his fans grow a brain and stop getting domestically abused? And leave this one way relstionship

    It's hardly surprising.
For all his skills in the ring Fury simply isn't box office.
