    Muhammad Ali was 6"3, 212 pounds, the night he destroyed Cleveland Big Cat Williams, on Nov 14 1966, in Houston,Texas, TKO3. Ali has never been a power puncher, but in his prime, an opponent could not catch him to hurt him. The Fight Of The Century, circa 1971, Ali was 4 years removed from his prime. Remember, like it or not, Ruiz stopped Anthony Joshua, Sonny Liston hit harder, and could not hurt Muhammad. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I respect that. But comparing a fighter who had just been knocked out in his last fight is interesting. And having AJ defeating a legend becomes more interesting. Everyone has their favorites from their own generation, and that is okay. That is what makes this great sport very special. I think Joshua may have defeated a Rope A Dope Ali. He would been caught with way too many dangerous head shots.

    I don’t know about that. Ruiz has never been a big puncher. Ruiz hurts people more with his accuracy and hand speed and he’s very good at sneaking in shots when people exchange with him. I’d say they both have similar power.

    Even AJ himself does not think he would beat Ali.

    Ali doesn't have a chin? He faced 3 power punches in Norton, Foreman, Frazier and none of them ko or tko ali which ali took their best shots. <<<If ali can take their best shots which he never lost to them when it doesn't go to the judges scorecard? What makes you or anybody else think Joshua could? Mind you when ali fought Frazier, foreman, norton? He was basically past his prime.

    Ruiz Jr ko percentage is 64% to ali 60% which is barely ahead of ali. Ruiz Jr easily destroy Joshua not cause of his power but mostly cause of Ruiz jr speed. <<<Ali at his best had way better handspeed than Ruiz. Ali easily would make Joshua look he's drunk.

    Holmes > Norton
    Shavers = Foreman
    Liston > Frazier

    He also fought Williams, Patterson, both Fosters, Moore and Lyle. So that's almost 20 fights against Power pucnhers without being KOed. His chin is among the best in history. Anyone who knows about Ernie Shavers just needs to watch that fight and they'll know how good Ali's chin is.

    Holmes did beat Ali, but he couldn't finish him off, he was pulled from the fight. It wasn't a TKO/KO.

    People who had common opponents (Foreman and Shavers) said that Shavers was by far the harder puncher. Foreman was a much better fighter, that's evident. He had a better chin, stamina and strength but Shavers could punch like a mutha****er. Holmes said he hit harder than Tyson, Lyle, Ali and Norton all said that he hit harder than Foreman.

    No it doesn't. By the logic of KO percentage i can conclusively say that Edwin Valero hit harder than Marvin Hagler. Which simply isn't true.

    But anyways that's me done. If you can't see that Shavers wasn't a banger I don't know what to tell you
