GGG said his priority was unifying. When he had to fight Derevyachenko he opted to get stripped instead of defending his title. Now that Derevyanchenko lost to Jacobs and looked vulnerable against Culcay he is willing to fight him.

 

And because of the huge size advantage he has over him. GGG can fight whoever he wants but he wasn't interested in Andrande.
Kovalev is much harder fight than Andrande.

 

He refused to take on Derev on short notice, all the rest of that argument of yours ceases to exist as soon as you grasp that.
