I never claimed Khan was a great win in general either. He’s definitely a comically serious win compared to Golovkin’s joke resume. The Khan fight happened in 2016, who was Golovkin’s biggest win at the time?. Rubio?.

All of the 33 actual middleweights he fought were a bigger win than Khan for Canelo.

Was Alvarez a 100/1 favorite going in against Khan like Golovkin was 80% of his career?.

You have been pulling literally everything straight out of your idiotic ass from the start. I assure you, Golovkin was exploding into arenas minimum as a 1/30 and up to 1/100 favorite in literally all of his fights as he was establishing his twitter hype train. Things aren’t improving now either, he is already a 1/5 favorite against his next “major threat”. He has no reason to step up anything when he has idiots like you roaring him on regardless.

I was just elaborating to your post as a way to point out that the most elite fighters pick and chose who they fight at weight divisions above them where they've never fought before. These Canelo haters would have everyone think Canelo was the first fighter to ever do it.

Oh, you assure me, it’s alright then but
    now it’s 1/30, not just 1/100?

I was going to suggest that you wait for isal to join you as you’re clearly confused but he’s here already. Still, you’re failing at your job man.

No, he ducked SD to fight Vanes Martirosyan. Why do you GGGoons try to re-write history. It doesn't work in this era.

He got an IBF exemption for Vanes.

That was no problem. It was when he was holding out for the Canelo fight and not agreeing to fight Derevyanchenko immediately AFTER the Vanes fight that the IBF stripped him.

    Those are the facts.

The facts don't care about your opinion.

The IBF would not sanction that fight.

All he needed to do was agree to fight SD. He could have 100% not fought Vanes that weekend and pushed his next fight a few more weeks. SD was ready and able. GGG didn't find it in him to fight such a threat. Now that he lost to Jacobs and looked less than incredible against Culcay GGG is suddenly more than willing.

    Good luck with that.
For him it’s opinion + feelings > facts

I guess maybe Derevyanchenko IS better than Canelo, you state a good case. But at the time, Golovkin wanted to fight Canelo, and the IBF wasn't OK with Canelo over Sergey.

The IBF did indeed agree to Vanes/GGG. In the words of Vanes himself:

"“Canelo You B*tch you run the whole fight and cry like a b*tch that U won then take Roids for Rematch,” Martirosyan wrote in a Tweet. “I fight 2 weeks notice show up to fight like a man CLEAN!!!! you know me PUTO!!”"
