Micheal Spinks was a really good Light Heavyweight champion who outweighed FlIVd by a good 50lbs and he couldn't last 2 minutes with a prime Mike and this idiot thinks FlIVd would even have a chance with a prime HEAVYWEIGHT Tyson?!!! Then wants to talk about how people aren't in gyms? lol! Maybe he should go tell the people in his "gym" about how he thinks this fight would play out.

Is this a joke? Floyd was great but prime Tyson, pre prison and before he ruined his style, was a monster. Floyd would need a huge ring and track shoes to prevent getting murdered (not figuratively, I mean actually killed). Any WW would suffer the same fate. Prime Tyson was an absolute beast, a stone cold killer.

We can argue how Tyson would do against other HWs but no WW in his right mind would ever step into the ring with a prime Tyson.

Floyd wouldn’t fight Winky without a firm rehydration clause - which is why the fight never took place. And Winky wasn’t a huge puncher. Floyd understood how critically important weight differences are in boxing. Now, a severely weight drained Tyson is a different matter. That’s more Floyd’s style but I’d still take Tyson. They have weight classes for a reason. These types of threads are complete crap.

People on this forum are actually contemplating on how the 147lb welterweight Floyd Mayweather would do against a prime 218-220lb Mike Tyson. This place has slipped far more than I thought it did. you do know sparing isn't an actual fight most people don't go all out its usually used to work on things or get a look at something

Mike in his prime still had Cus D’amato in his mind as well as positive figures like Jimmy Jacobs and Kevin Rooney. Not to mention his adopted mother Camille. No. The person I was responding to made it seem like his statement meant HW Mike as he said that FlIVd used to school lhw at the gym. Tyson being the same weight problably still knocks FlIVd out. If Tyson was lightning quick at hw he'd be prime Manny fast at the very least and with his bob and weave style he would get by anyones jab which is why he fought the way he did.
