Todays 147 pound division is incredibly and bizarrely overrated. And I have no idea why maybe because it's an American dominated division and the hype machine is behind it.

But man a prime Cotto would wreck todays Welterweight division. Except Crawford would be a 75/25 fight in favor of Crawford.

And dont even get me started on what a prime DLH would do to guys like Spence. He would baptize them.

Would he though? I could see Spence Margarito'ing Cotto.

I do agree that prime DLH would beat everyone at welter now.

Prime Jose Luis Lopez would dominate this current landscape at 147. They tried to lock me up in an lunatic asylum for saying Lopez would beat Spence, but there's no goddamn way in hell Spence is taking flush bombs from the savage punching Lopez or so much as putting a single dent in his titanium mandible.

And lol at this video. Tito would rip Spence's head clean off and send it flying into the rafters with that murderous left hook of his

And Melon Head Miguel would paddle his ass too

After seeing how competitive Spence and Porter was, I need to see Crawford fight Thurman, Porter, or Spence before agreeing that Terrance would be favored over Cotto. They could all be about the same level.

Maybe I'm just old school and going to favor fighters I watched growing up, but a prime DLH or Tito would put a hurting on this current division.

I could be wrong but prime Tito was a smidgen better and hit a tad harder than career 140 pounder featherfists Algieri and Peterson and even the likes of Shawn Porter and Kell Brook lol

This is the argument ive been making forever.. Not just the division the WHOLE ERA in multiple divisions is overrated.. Nobody who is considered to be elite in they're current division has proved to be heads and shoulders above the next guys when tested .. Lets not forget Bud Crawford not blasting by a clearly one-legged Benavidez, GGG and Canelo struggling with Danny Jacobs, Loma having a hard time with Pedraza, AJ losing to Ruiz, Fury struglling with Wallin, Wilder almost getting KOd by Ortiz, etc.. The jury is still out on Inoue..

These are different times where guys arent even tested until 28-30 yrs of age and all those mediocre opponents before that test is not preparing them to make an ATG run..

Spence would beat Cotto. He's bigger, he has that gas tank, and he would match Cotto's low blows.

Spence would have issues with prime versions of Oscar, Trinidad, and Mosely.
