I am commenting just to lol at this guys scorecard! I had it very close possibly a draw until the KD a draw or a Spence win seemed about right in a very close fight
Brook had an easier time with porter. If only brook didn’t waste his time chasing khan and subsequently getting his face caved by GGG to one up him. Brook could have been so much more
I had Porter by a round or so, perhaps a draw. A lot of Spence's work was low in the early rounds, and for all those saying Porter was swinging wild punches a lot of Spence's work was being caught. It was a great back and forth, and when Spence would land an eye catcher, Porter would return the favour. Overall I felt Porter controlled the fight in as much as that Spence had to fight his fight not because he chose to, but because he had no choice.
He did win it. I thought it was close but the kd did it. I had Spence winning the first 3 rounds plus 11 and 12 and one of the middle rounds for a 114-113 win. Without the kd, porter would have edged it as I think he was winning 11 before the kd.
Rewatch it, at least the early rounds, in no way shape or form did Spence win the first three, at best 1 in 3. Even most on the RBR gave the first to Porter.
Credit to Spence for surviving the hornet on his back all night. He stayed composed as Porter was doing everything except cartwheels over his head. I had Porter by a razor edge but the rounds were so close I just can’t SCREAM robbery now that I reflect on the fight as rounds were close however the scorecards were rubbish
114-113 Spence 6-6 with the KD deciding it. Lost of rounds that xould awing for either guy though, I could see anything from 116-111 either way tbh, great fight, would live to see them donit again.
He bullied him mate . He made Errol spence look a very ordinary fighter tonight. Don’t get the Spence love in tbh because even against brook he was getting beat up until nearly the end when he got the result .
Watched it again and still have porter winning by two. The weight bully got bullied. Didn't realise it till now but Josh Warrington has a very similar style.
