114-113 Spence. Porter bullied Spence, but Spence remained effective at times and landed while being mauled or put on the back foot. Then Spence scored a KD in the 11th and dominated the 12th to seal the deal.

Was super close and hard to score, I thought it was about even before the KD but could see it going either way. Was too busy enjoying an epic war to even bother scoring.

Alittle biased? You're way too biased. That scoring you have is freaking awful.

I had it 115-112 for Spence. No way porter won the fight. <<<<A draw will be the highest I would go for porter but no way he won.

I looked at the judges scorecards and that judge who gave the fight to Porter should be ashamed.

7-5 Spence but 8-4 seems ok as well. There were a lot of close rounds but I just thought Errol landed the cleaner punches in most of those razor close rounds.

Shawn is a really tough fighter when he's on his A-game and the version of him last night would beat most WW's in the division. He would've steamrolled guys like Danny and MIkey Garcia, and probably beat Thurman as well if he fought with the same level of spirit and determination he did last night.

I’m gonna have to watch it myself as I really don’t favour either.Talk about subjective?I can go on RBR see your scores and someone else will have the total opposite.Wouldnt care but it’s not like I can go and check out the official cards to compare as I believe them even less than you lot lol.

Only joking of course I appreciate the effort you all put in on there.

Yes you’re damn right Eggman.I was one who used to give Brook a hard time on here for his opponents after beating Porter, obviously Hearn wasn’t lying when he said nobody wanted Brook as he took Golovkin out of sheer desperation.
I said at the time he should of taken Vargas fight and then Spence.Imo he would of beaten Spence as he wouldn’t have had that mental baggage.

This. I had Porter slightly ahead in the early rounds, but by the mid rounds Porter started getting too sloppy with his defense and was throwing his punches way too wide. I knew it was only a matter of time before Spence took advantage to turn the fight around and he did. Despite being as green as he is Spence made good adjustments and found a way to win late in the fight.

The first half was about even, and in the second half, Spence walked down Porter most of the time and landed the cleaner shots.

Porter looked to flurry inefficiently then immediately clinch in order to avoid counters and catch his breath, rinse and repeat (aka the usual Porter BS)

There's no way anyone can score it for Porter, even without the KD.

    114 - 113 Porter.

I generally thought Porters work was more effective and consistently won the exchanges (not alot in it). His movement was frequently bothering Spence, who actually gained more advantage from rough housing than his own combos. Spence had great success imposing his physicality late though, which allowed him to land that knockdown counter.

As a side note, I was really not impressed with the constant fouls from Spence, and his boxing was quite basic and even sloppy at times. He has great physicality, but he should definitely not move up in weight. I think Crawford would decision him, if they arrange the bout.

    Seems quite controversial here!

    Maybe a rewatch some time?
