Who wins the battle of the two best super middleweights?

I think Smith is technically better and would take him out with a body shot.

I like him but I don't think he's great technically, Smith is more polished. Great fight if it ever happens.

Had no idea he’d been banned for PEDs?funny how a slap on the wrist for doping doesn’t seem to harm these guys careers.
Beats me how Smith makes the weight to be honest?his next opponent Ryder is rated no 4 on boxrec which tells you how poor the division is.

Dirrell fought as good as he could last night, he was very slick and stayed in perpetual motion the entire fight. Benavidez had to chase him around the ring all night and couldn't really setup the way he wanted to with his vicious combination punching and body attack.

Smith doesn't fight like Dirrell at all, so putting their styles into its proper context I'd expect a much cleaner performance for David in a fight with Smith and probably stop him in the late rounds. David is the real deal, he's so young still and I expect him to be in the P4P list by the end of next year.

A slick fighter with fast hands and good defensive ability is going to make him look sloppy. I expect him to have a tough time with Plant for those reasons but David's size, power and will to dominate will eventually have him stop Plant as well. We're probably looking at the next dominant fighter of the SMW division.

Smith is just as big as Benavidez and has plenty of power especially to the body where I thought Benavidez looks quite fleshy. I don't think dirrell would last six rounds with Smith so I wasn't that impressed last night. Maybe I've bought into the hype too much and expected more.

Yeah I noticed Benavidez has a very fleshy midsection. Doesn't look like he does many situps.

Smith. I really want to see that fight. But I prefer the Plant fight.
