And no Spence is absolutely not the heir to Mayweather.
Devin Haney is wayyyy better than Spence.

Spence is kind of reminding me of AJ.

Wlad=Kell Brook (Of course Wlad was longer reigning Champ & arguably more skilled than Brook & Brook emulated a lot of his game from Wlad. Still both were at near 70% of their peak fighting)
Kevin Johnson =140Chris Algieri (of course Algieri has more skills but similar)
Porter=Takam/Parker/Whyte (Porter is wayyyy better but similar)

Now Spence has the far better resume than Anthony Joshua no doubt. There's some similar trend with their resumes.

I know you can say Spence made it look easy vs Mikey Garcia but nearly every Top Ten Welter beats Mikey.

    Sorry just rambling a little.
Idk I do look back at past welterweights with nostalgia but I laugh anytime someone says Spence vs Paul Williams at Welterweight. Spence literally DUCKED cotto to fight Ocampo & Mikey Garcia. Paul Williams never had that luxury.

I saw Williams-Margarito Live & that Williams was Almost Unbeatable. That fight was ****ing Horrific. Margarito was sketchy I want to be wise with my words but God knows if Margarito was a filthy Cheater.

Not imo. They actually are quite the opposite, to me.

So do I. The Welters of yesteryear were far better. But those comparisons were just......

    Which ones??
K.Johnson was never stopped either Algieri. Of course Algieri was a World champion so automatically better than Johnson. However Algieri is no Welterweight & was coming off some horrendous beatings from Provodnikov & Manny

Wlad to Brook, Porter to Takam and Algieri to Johnson were all pretty appalling. Quite frankly none of them are comparable in both directions. Wlad>>>>>Brook, Porter>>>>>Takam, Algieri>>>>>Johnson.

You should have just said like AJ, the first time he got in there with someone who wasn't a shot to hell past it fighter, and in their prime like he is, he got taken to the brink and beaten up. That would have been far more effective without the analogies.

    I thought Porter beat Spence
    I thought Parker beat Joshua
I'm reaching idk, maybe I'm just trying to say I think Spence will be exposed very soon.

The difference is Errol Spence has his title, and Anthony Joshua does not have his any more. Spence may have had a real tough fight against Shawn Porter, last night, but he had the heart to defend his belt, even scoring a knockdown in round 11. Joshua, a dominating champion in his own right, forgot his heart when he was stopped by Andy Ruiz, who brought his to Madison Square Garden. Ruiz won, even after suffering a knockdown earlier in the bout. To redeem himself, AJ needs to beat Ruiz, and do it with desire, heart, and skill.

Two totally different styles of fighters with AJ having the much more in depth of quality resume.

Lol Spence has a better comparative resume than AJ!? Maybe if Joshua had been fighting LHW's!!! Spence, apart from Brook and Porter has no resume!! And tbh Brook was beating him til eye socket went and for me, Porter beat Spence!

Truthfully a resume means nothing when you are staring up at your opponent, as you are laying on the canvas. Never take anything for granted, what you did in the past, is just that, the past. But what you are doing today is what matters. You could have a terrific resume, but when your opponent is beating on you, the past means nothing. Good resume for AJ, but it did not help him when he was stopped by Andy Ruiz, who may have not had such a good resume.
