What's The Deal With Gassiev?

According to people on this forum he is some type of great boxer, and beating him makes you a P4per

 

Why move up to heavyweight and fight oafish unskilled slobs for millions when he can stay put and fight all the highly skilled and dangerous opponents there are to offer at cruiserweight for peanuts?

 

Initially he had injured his shoulder, got a surgery on it. Then he didn't listen to what the doctors advised him to do, started training prematurely, re-injured the shoulder, making it even worse, then had another surgery...

 

That is not an answer to his question my dense friend.

And yeah, totally outclassing the kind of fighter Gassiev is, along with beating a list of other top CW’s, does make one a P4Per.
Have you seen Usyk fight?
Have you seen Gassiev fight?
What about Briedis and other CW’s?

 

Winning every round against unified world champion in Gassiev is much better than knocking out borderline top 30 guys like Szpilka and Washington after being outboxed by them in the most of the rounds.

 

I know you aren't used to seeing this with other fighters that have somehow managed to make it on the p4p lists but Usyk has many notable scalps on his resume outside Gassiev.

I’m almost afraid to ask, do your sources inform you about grooming habits of all fighters or only Top10 per division or... how does this work?

 

Shame about all the injury trouble he's had really. Dude is still young though so can recover from it

That's the sort of injury that can mess up careers.

 

Due back on the Matchroom Monaco card on November 30th. Their plan is for him to have a easyish heavyweight debut then get iunto the mix.
