From Skys perspective Lomo v Campbell still grossed over £6 million on their platform. Abilitywise for me it was the most ppv worthy of the 3 fights mentioned, but I know it will be least favourite to any casual fans.

 

These obviously aren't official figures, so are subject to the usual caveats and disclaimers when discussing BARB estimates.

Still interesting though.

 

Didn’t think Joshua Ruiz done so many with stupid o’clock in the morning. Will expect it to hit the million mark next time around with it being prime time.

 

I try not too pay much attention to PPV figures but sadly in the modern era it's unavoidable as it's such a big part of negotiation.. and thus which fights do/don't get made.

Joshua figures very impressive considering the fight time. Whyte vs Rivas also steady numbers considering Rivas is hardly a household name.

 

Whyte figures are very decent for a fight that had no right to take place.

. Totally agree and tbf even Campbell for an Olympic gold medalist isn't massive in UK but 205 thousand ppv and a sold out O2 not bad at all.

 

I think the Eastern European guys can be very very marketable here in the UK. GGG is very popular over here and everyone seems to love Loma. Usyk slowly going that way too

 

I'm amazed how well Joshua is still doing in this day and age. Those are big numbers for a (then assumed) mismatch that you can watch for free almost everywhere else. The rematch will probably do good numbers again.
And that Whyte guy with almost 300k buys... for a nothing belt against a relative unknown. Little did people know about the failed test of course, but still... When is that fight going to be overturned by the way? And what happened to the b-sample?

 

Very solid numbers. We knew the Whyte and Joshua Numbers a while ago as BARB releases them. The Joshua rematch will do huge numbers , it’s one of the most intriguing fights out there and although the odds disagree, Joshua is really the underdog.

 

It could end up being the biggest selling Joshua fight to date - on at a decent time, not many will travel (would've been full capacity at Wembley if held here) so they'll probably buy the PPV and in a year that's been fairly barren for Boxing.

 

It’s the most anticipated fight of the year for me.

 

I may be wrong, but I'm sure I heard (think it was on the Bunce and Costello podcast) that Whyte himself decides when the B Sample will be tested
