Nothing wrong with what he said especially as the other guys are bigger box office draws than Crawford. Crawford holds the WBO the least respected or recognized of the belts and has not beaten anyone of more at 147 yet. Yes Crawford is a 3 weight world champion and former undisputed 140 world champion and highly skilled which Spence is as well. We also know if it was doubted that Spence has dog in him. He absolutely refused to let the physical Shaun Porter manhandle him with his tough dirty tactics showing a few of his own. Cannot remember the last time Shawn Porter was floored but Spence put him down. You should be applauding both guys for a great contest. The politics are the politics. Spence has told Bob Arum to contact Al Haymon to make the fight which has not been done yet. Crawford will have to ask his network ESPN to release him for the Spence fight as it can only happen on Fox PPV. At the moment the other fights make more money and are easier to make. Pacquiao and Danny Garcia fights more lucrative right now.

A lot of things wrong with what he said. First part of your paragraph are just a bunch of excuses for Spence to duck the fight. They are rated #1 and #2 by the Ring, both rated top10 p4p so they need to fight each other, period. And the second part is just false information.

Arum has been on the record saying that he already called Haymon about making the fight and was told that It would happen in 2020. Now, we hear from Spence that he wants Garcia and Pacquaio for 2020 and that "I ain't worried about Crawford"(which is a different version of "I don't want to fight him."

That's a shameless duck if I ever saw one.

Why should he be worried about Crawford? He has been given the Garcia fight which is more lucrative. Crawford tanks at the box office. Crawford needs to be promoted better. Frankly the Pacquiao fight is much more lucrative so it makes sense to do that before Crawford. Who has Crawford fought against 147 pounds? I have also seen Crawford say he is not chasing Spence.

Oh, so you finally admit that Spence doesn’t want any part of it. Good to know.

Not only has Crawford called Spence out, he also confronted him, he even took it a step further and had Arum call Haymon to ask about a fight.

Pacquaio is a more lucrarive fight, but Garcia isn’t. What has Garcia done at 147? Lost every time he stepped up and he also ducked Crawford, turning down 2 offers to face him.

And Crawford is rated #2 on p4p lists by most credible authorities, inluding the Ring, ESPN and TBRB. Spence is indeed worried about him, terribly worried about losing and being made to look average. Him saying otherwise and making all kinds of excuses to avoid the fight is a blatant duck if there was ever one.

So did/was Margarito. Look what happened to him.
And Horn was perfectly capable of carrying on vs Bud too, but if we're using Bud's TKO of Horn as a measuring stick to when Horn had enough or "to protect his health" (put that in quotes to remind you that the referee was warning Horn that he was going to stop the fight), then Pac should've gotten the TKO as well.
You know why Pac didn't and Bud did? Arum. New cash cow. Pac's end of contract. Corrupt judges.
Again, it's not because Horn was "perfectly capable" of carrying on. Pac did far worse damage to Horn than Bud did, and the post-fight photos would show that, but for some reason Horn was allowed to continue vs Pac.

    Crawford vs Horn:

    Not even close.
You got to be sh%tting me if you're saying that Horn was far less damaged vs Pac than vs Bud.

Regardless, Horn was capable of carrying on vs Pac which is why he wasn't stopped vs Pac.

    1. Spence
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Thurman
    4. D. Garcia (thought he beat Porter)
    5. Crawford
    6. Porter

Crawford is a skilled fighter. But he's had three fights at the weight. I wasn't overly impressed with any of the three. His rating is more based on what he's done below welter. I think Crawford vs Porter is a pick-em fight. I believe Spence, Pac, Thurman and Danny Garcia all beat Crawford straight up.
