How would they get a sanctioning fee for an Olympic prelim fight? The title wouldn't be on the line. There's no purse. If they wanted to get greedy, they could strike a deal with AIBA to pay their champs a fee for each bout, tell ALL the WBC Champs THEY HAVE to compete in the Olympics and charge them a sanctioning fees for each fight. They just don't want grown men pummeling teenagers half to death. The WBC does a lot of things wrong. But they aren't wrong here. If people are going to bash orgs when they are wrong, they should acknowledge when they are right.
If they ban pros from fighting for WBC accolades (in pro fights), then those banned fighters will not be paying sanctioning fees (in pro fights). The original post (fightnews) said the WBC would ban fighters for 2 years, this means banning pros (pro fights) from fighting in WBC sanctioned contests (again..........in Pro fights). Where on Earth did you get that I was talking about sanctioning fees for amateur fights? You should've read the article before responding to me.
