Whoa! That's big news out of Bleak City. I think Andrew Moloney is our best chance for a world title in the short term but they need to keep him busy against good opposition if he's to claim one. The "interim" title could well get upgraded to WBA regular if Khalid Yafai takes a unification fight (which I think he is). We could have a genuine world champion in our midst before the year is out. Things are looking up around here.

Dwight Ritchie v Tommy Browne is an interesting fight. I think Wake in Fright has too much but if Tommy Browne wins presumably he gets Junior Tszyu. If he doesn't, I'd like to see them line that Kiwi Bowyn Morgan up for Junior Tszyu. If you want to be the best in the world, a good start is proving you're the best from around here. It will also be good seeing Dwight Ritchie put himself back in the mix.

Those developments make those two promotions significantly better.

Conor Wallace is worth keeping an eye on. There's plenty of good campaigners at Light Heavy like Reagan Dessaix, Blake Caparello & yes, Super Hooper. Match-ups between those guys would be worth seeing.

    * Jeff Horn will announce Thurs morn who his opponent will be for a Dec bout. His
camp has been coy and there haven't been any leaks about what division it is or
whether they will use the clause for a Zerafa rematch .

Horndog in the house! The end of this year is going off!

We're about to claim a world title at long last (Interim WBA Supa Fly), we've got Dennis Hogan challenging for the WBC Middleweight Title, possibly Michael Zerafa challenging for the WBA Middleweight title, Junior Tszyu heading up a PPV, Daniel Lewis debuting in America & the return of The Big Horn.

Still hoping for a "free" Foxtel show headlined by Jai Opetaia plus undercard.

And we'll be opening the batting next year with Justis Huni at the Asia & Oceania Olympic qualifying event against one or both of the finalists from this year's World Amateur Championships.

    Australian boxing rules!

Jason is now fighting Alejandro Valori, as Lance Bryant suffered an injury in training. Valori has fought a few decent names, so we are pretty happy with him as a late replacement. For what it's worth, I haven't looked after Lucas for a little while now. Wish him all the best though.

I think Dwight beats him but if Browne can get the upset then I can see him as a future keep busy Tszyu opponent.

Seemed like at best a slight shuffle backwards from the opponents he had been facing.

But a win over Dwight "Don't take no Shite" Ritchie legitimises him.

Horn might try to drain Geale to a catchweight. After the unexpected loss last time out even a retired washed up Geale probably isn't a sure bet with Team Horn!

Where does everyone think Dempsey Mckean will end up? He's got a WBO Africa title now so hopefully he starts fighting commonwealth fighters or higher ranked ones.

I think domestic level is his best hope. He seems to upright I think he is a KO waiting to happen against a half decent heavyweight. He doesn't seem to have much power either. I would still pick Lucas Browne and Alex Leapai to KO him at this juncture.

I agree for the most part. But he'd probably has enough to beat those two who are totally useless at this point.

This is a bad move by Horn and his team IMO and shows how arrogant and amatuerish they really are. He just got the brakes beaten off him by Zerafa it was a dominate beat down that should have been stopped earlier. I do not blame team Horn for taking the rematch but to have it in December is not a smart move. They are barely a month removed from what was a genuine beat down, I doubt that Horn has fully recovered. If I was his team I would be waiting to at least February to have the fight giving more time to get used to the weight and recover from the first fight also the promotion would be better as they could no doubt get a good crowd at the Brisbane entertainment centre.
