So, a scrub like Middleton, here at the end of his career already KO'd three times and having gone 3-7 in his last 10 is an equivalent to a prime Jheri-curled Tucker who beat Douglas and McCall, and who was never stopped until well into his dotage?

That's what we call "a reach".

You are a mental midget. All you can do is lie and distort in an attempt to sound believable. Fools game.

And comparing a late stage Larry Middleton to Prime Tony Tucker is pure undistorted clarity? You stand by that comparison?

Or is this another cowardly assertion for which you have zero backing?

A Jaw Busting Ken Norton has too much for Tony TNT Tucker, although tall Tucker would be taking several hard body punches, and Norton's awkward cross armed defense would puzzle Tucker. Norton, who has gone to a therapist for Hypnosis, true fact. would hurt Tucker and make him appear as if he is dancing The Lambada, for several rounds, after they trade blows. Tucker does not have a Jose Luis Garcia, in 1970, or a George Foreman 1974 power,to hurt Norton,1973 Ken Norton by unanimous decision.

yup. Middleton is as good a fighter. The same.

Before he fought Tyson who did Tucker fight that was considered more than USBA Level at that time?
Tucker lasted 12 rounds vs. Tyson... he should be happy with that. I'm not sure he could have ever done any better.
After Tyson He won his next 14 fights, 10 by KO. 12 were bums, the other two were Orlin Norris and Oliver McCall. The fights with Norris and McCall could have easily went the other way. Norris did beat Tucker in a rematch.

Tucker went the distance vs. Lewis but was dropped twice.
What else did he do? Tucker didn't lose much because he didn't fight decent fighters very much. The only time he fought 3 name fighters in a row, he lost 3 fights in a row... LKOby7 Seldon, L10 Akinwande, and L10 Norris.
If Tucker had something special he never proved it to me.

Douglas outboxed him for most of that fight. The Tyson and Lewis fights were pretty one sided... he just fought to survive. Norton by decision.

@HOUDINI : You can read and grasp content? Or telling what?
Comparing the fighter who went 12 with Tyson and Lewis (once past prime), as well as beating Douglas, Broad, McCall and Young with a fellow who was 22 - 8 at the time, loosing to ancient Quarry, Bonavena, the great Ledoux and Duane Bobick ? Oh sure. And against 12 - 1 novice Howard Smith as well.

Picking a random 6'5" guy to make another damn stupid comparison? Or did it on purpose?

What about comparing Tucker to David Jaco, Reggie Gross or Eddie Richardson? Totally legit @ "fairytale equations"?

The comparison stands up. Lewis wasn’t yet an all time great. Tucker was decked twice anyway. If Middleton lasted the distance with Ali (and got decked twice) that would be the same.

Tucker had fights that could have went either way against McCall and Orlin Norris. Middleton had fights that could have went either way against Quarry and Bugner. I don’t see the difference.

Tucker lost on points to Tyson. So what.

so did Mitch Green and quick Tillis.

Tony Tucker never was a puncher. Evander Holyfield hit much harder for example.

Norton is in no danger of being stopped or dropped by Tucker.

Lennox Lewis couldn't stop a washed up Tucker, but Norton would? If anyone gets stopped it's Norton. Tucker was tall, mobile and had power. I don't think Tucker stops Norton but Norton stopping Tucker badly just doesn't seem right to me.
