Do you think mayorga is a bad person or just a nutcase

Do you make a thread of every little obscure thought that goes thru yr mind? It sures seems like you do.

 

Apparently he's actually a cool guy. Just crazy.

 

I met him once in Vegas at a fight (I think Rafael Marquez vs. Nishioka if memory serves me right) and he was nice. He speaks no English whatsoever and I speak little Spanish but he seemed nice enough. I went to his fight with Trinidad and reminded him I was at that one.

He’s done and said a lot of bad things though so I’d tend to believe that over a five minute conversation though.

 

Personally the thought has never crossed my mind nor piqued my curiosity

I think it’s both. Like Tyson in a way. You know enough about yourself to know you will NEVER be the Hero. So you just embrace the Villian. Every time he grabbed his crotch, talked about how he was going to bang Oscar de la hoyas wife or smoked a cigarette during a post fight interview he got tons of espn media coverage. He knew how to sell the crazy because it came naturally to him , but he exaggerated it too. I mean honestly, who here hasn’t watched him getting ktfo on some YouTube clip before? It’s just funny.

 

He's clearly a piece of ****. Being nice to your fans and a good person are 2 different things

 

He was both...a violent, bombastic head case with little or no impulse control. If it weren't for boxing giving him n outlet, he'd be in prison.

 

A friend of mine promoted a show that Mayorga fought on in 2014 and he loaned Mayorga to use in the days before the fight. Mayorga sold the car.

 

Probably crazy.

I remember he seemed quite the character.

 

BTW:

He's remembered for getting his a$$ kicked but for a short while he was a bad ass. The upset of Vernon Forest was monumental.

 

I think he fits in perfectly with the sport!

After many a nights tossing and turning I've come to the realisation our Ricardo is nuttier than a squirrel's turd.

 

I think he's nuts, but I like him.
