Trying to gauge how the legendary Midget does against other great Bantams. Here against Zarate. Zarate is a long and dangerous puncher, but he'd have to rely on his underrated skills here more. Pure power isn't gonna cut it. Wolgast ain't getting stopped though IMO, since he took Henry Armstrong the distance, when shot, at Featherweight. I think he gives Zarate trouble like a better, dynamic Davila. However, pulling off a win is a different matter, especially against Zarate. How'd you see it? Who wins?
Having fun btw thx. I wish the was a lounge like there was on Aol in the mid 90s where you could talk live in a right now way. Boy could we have fun. Like in a bar around some beers.
Yep. Zarate was THAT good at bantam. Styles make fights . Holy goes distance w every monster then fatass Toney stops him by going straight into his body.
Wolgast was never KOd at the weight. At Bantam he easily has skills, and superior speed, to implement a Davila strategy, and was much more dynamic and tougher than Davila. This definitely goes the distance IMO. And Holy was super old and injured. And Toney was likely roided up.
Davila was a terrific fighter. Maybe the purest boxer I ever saw. I would take Albert over Wolgast . zarate KOs Wolgast . Great punchers and fighters KO other terrific fighters.
