Would Canelo and GGG have beaten Duran more convincingly than Hagler did?

Canelo and GGG went toe to toe and displayed better defense than Hagler did going toe to toe with Duran so would either man have outdid Hagler`s flawed performance v Roberto? Also how would Canelo have looked v Duran at 154?

I think Duran would actually trouble both of these massively, boxing like he did against Hagler. Especially GGG. Not saying he would win though.

I was going to say yes but then I remember how close I had cotto-Canelo, a past it cotto at that.

 

I'll say no, which is really massive props
to Duran more than dirt on Canelo and GGG.
I think both GGG and Hagler could stop Duran, but Hagler didn't and GGG wasn't/isn't as good as Hagler.
I doubt Canelo would stop him.

Golovkin, the master cherry picker, would even duck the opportunity to carry Hagler’s spit bucket.

 

Canelo was far better in the 2nd GGG bout than in any of his previous bouts and didn`t get hit as much as Hagler did v Duran, Marvin ate a lot more straight rights than Canelo would.

 

He wouldn`t have ducked Duran though and would have beaten him quite easily.

 

I don`t see why, he didn`t seem to handle Hagler`s power and strength very well and hios stamina let him down, GGG would have stuck his longer jab in his face all fight.

 

Maybe he beats the duran that fought joppy at the age of 47

 

GGG punches harder than Hagler did v Duran.

 

He certainly would have toyed with Joppy in any case.

 

GGG is also no where near as dynamic as Hagler.

GGG has major trouble with Duran. Look how he struggled with Canelo's defense, and was slightly shut down by it. Look at Duran. Duran would love his style, and only really struggle due to physicality.

Over 12, I favour G, but it's very hard for him. 15, oh boy.
