Does anyone think that Derevyanchenko has a chance in beating GGG?

People not long ago said GGG ducked SD

Now he’s fighting him and people are calling it a cherry pick

    I love hypocrisy

I don’t know these people and I’ve never been a part of them either because not long ago, SD had 10 professional fights. I’d have to be an imbecile to consider someone with literally ZERO serious experience a legitimate threat.

Kindly take your love for hypocrisy elsewhere.

If you were GGG and his team, to be fair here, would you have been more likely to sign for a fight with Derevy before or after his exposure at the hands of Jacobs? How about after seeing him hang on for dear life with Culcay? He looks a whole lot more beatable now.

Wasn’t aiming it at you. Just in general.

Not sure how he survives GGG when a small, 154 guy in Culcay almost got him out.

Sounds like Mayweather when he fought McGregor who had zero professional fights.

And yes, you are exactly the type of poster to call this a cherry pick after a duck. Plenty of people on here thought he should have fought Derevyanchenko instead of Martirosyan. Martirosyan had plenty of experience (40+ fights) and GGG ran through him. If GGG fought and beat SD in similar fashion instead of taking on Vanes, you'd just say SD had no experience. so GGG can't win either way.

It might have taken GGG 5 rounds to get Steve Rolls out of there, and he might not have stopped Jacobs or Canelo period, but Derev is a pretty reckless fighter. While pressure was the key to Canelo's success in the rematch, Derev tends to get dinged up pretty good when he comes forward. I think we'll see GGG pushed into a scrap for however long it lasts. I expect a finish personally.

Sans finish, I doubt the cards would go against GGG in a close fight. The A side is blessed. DAZN has too much money in him. His promotion is doing the event. The guy is 37 though. If he fights long enough, he's bound to lose to somebody we don't see coming.

Psyched to see Madrimov on the undercard. That guy is bad news.

If SD hadn’t gotten floored by Jacobs and hurt against a small, 154 pounder in Culcay, I would argue he makes it 12.

    Just can’t see it.

20% chance honestly as he hasn’t got any advantages over Golovkin except age mainly so don’t know how derevyanchenko beats Golovkin tbf. Maybe he proves me wrong tho

I think he gets hit too much and doesn’t have the size, power or speed to out hustle or muscle him

No I didn’t say SD was a duck and never mentioned him prior to Golovkin signing to fight him either. My post history is right there for your viewing pleasure. Oh, and I never backed Mayweather’s decision to fight McGreggor and openly called him an exhibition quality joke fight.

Kindly refrain from putting words in my mouth, you are only embarrassing yourself here.

So SD is a cherry pick but not a duck in your opinion?

SD is another joke opponent. The man has 14 professional fights and already lost to Daniel "Ali + SRR In One Supreme Package" Jacobs.

Good logic. I guess anyone who beats Loma shouldn't get any credit either... after all, he has a loss and only 14 fights.... troll...
