Does anyone think that Derevyanchenko has a chance in beating GGG?

How is it a joke of a fight? That Jacobs fight was really close. He's a solid opponent forsure and a fight I'm looking forward to.

 

SD will rise to the occasion and give GGG all he can handle

 

Derev is solid enough but he’s tailor made for Golovkin. Poor defense, fairly slow hands and no power means zero chance of an upset.

 

Last I checked, you guys are rating Golovkin extremely highly, so he isn't exactly "anyone" by your standards. I'm merely judging his choice of opponents based on how he is rated. If you don't think an opponent with literally zero serious experience isn't a joke, then you're the troll.

 

SD is a top rated opponent by pretty much anyone with a fair and unbiased opinion, so pretty much not you

BTW, SD had 24 World Series of Boxing semi-pro bouts. He fought Brian Castano there, a guy who arguably beat Lara. SD is not low on experience, his problem is going to be his style is all wrong to go up against GGG.

 

Doesn’t matter what you think he hasn’t done, many consider him a top 160 pounder.

 

Rankings in general are only irrelevant if you are mentally ill, which is hardly a surprise here. That's how you rate opponents and differenciate between who's worthy or not based on experience and accomplishments. SD has accomplished nothing and has no relevant experience either. I don't need rankings or a P4P list to know, all I do is simply watch his fights. The man hasn't beaten anyone relevant. If you can't see that in his clearly new record, then your issues go beyond mental illness at this stage.
