    Derevyanchenko is swarming Golovkin, stifling his attempts to seize the early offensive initiative. Golovkin is hurt and pressed into the ropes with lead rights on the body and head! Derevyanchenko also jabbing into Golovkin's throat, sternum, navel and nose, at random intervals changing between all four altitudes. Three and four punch combos by Derevyanchenko! Never more than a pair from Golovkin, and his accuracy is really suffering now, especially with Derevyanchenko's sure-footed air-glider movement. A couple of grazing rabbit punches by Golovkin as Derevyanchenko bends low, but Derevyanchenko soaks them up and goes back to work, scoring hard jabs. Left hook by Golovkin, ripping open that gash. Several overhand rights by Golovkin, all of them missing as Derevyanchenko squats & weaves in the pocket. Derevyanchenko backed into the ropes as Golovkin pressures behind a lowered-drawbridge jab. Left hook by Golovkin at the bell.
