    Too late.

He was too cheap to pay Abel and now they hate each other

No just hang them up, 38 plus 45 pro fights and 400 bouts in the ams is not a good combination.

Hate? Come on. It only takes a desire to make the first step and I'm sure they can negotiate the terms of a new partnership. Just business, nothing personal, all smiles...
After all, if Golovkin really wants to get back to Sanchez, Abel will definitely feel and appreciate that.

What can Banks really teach GGG at this point of his career? Only thing he can advise GGG on is strategy, because GGG's technique is something Banks would never be able to attain. Abel was good for GGG because he made him this monster with an endless tank, GGG also seemed more comfortable with him. I don't know if GGG can handle big bear at this point of his career though, he doesn't have the same hunger and he's old.

Hmm? He's still training over there relatively close to Sanchez. Just in another gym.

Oh, interesting. It just seemed like his conditioning wasn't the same. Maybe Banks doesn't push him as much as Abel?

It seems so, yes. For example, with Sanchez Golovkin sparred 5 minute rounds, but Banks made it 3 minute. Also, the emphasis is different.

I mean GGG has a promotional company, and he seems more focused on post-fighting stuff nowadays.. so I don't know if I can blame Banks completely, but Banks just isn't a good trainer to have in your corner. GGG doesn't seem as comfortable with him as he was with Abel.

Banks is just wrong for Golovkin (at this point, at least). It looks like with him Golovkin doesn't know what he is as a fighter/boxer now...
Sanchez definitely is not a perfect trainer, but it worked for Golovkin. Gennady can also experiment with another trainer. But that's risky at 37 — he's old enough already, can't lose more time.
Anyway, it's up to Golovkin to decide.
