I've very closely followed Golovkin's career since he fought Lajuan Simon in '11. I looked into his amateur career and and his old fights and saw something special. I knew this destroyer would emerge from obscurity to become a star in the sport. Then he did. He did an incredible job of it. Golovkin wanted to fight everyone, all the time, anywhere. It was terrible seeing him robbed in the Canelo fights, but hey, that's boxing politics, right? The good guy loses to the "Money" guy. But now the Golovkin story has entered its final chapter. He is no longer Gennady "Humble Destroyer" Golovkin, he is now Gennady "Money" Golovkin. He has crossed over from the side of boxing truth to the side that controls the financial interests. He is now doing to Derevyanchenko what Canelo did to him. There is no reasonable way you can score that fight for Golovkin. I have wished the best for Golovkin for a long time, but today, the powers surrounding him took a hard fought victory from a warrior who has toiled in obscurity. Derevyanchenko let it all hang out and made his dream happen, but a TV Network has taken it from him. F*** that.
I scored it for triple G. Second watch had it 7-5 with kd giving it to him. No robbery at all. 6-6 or 7-5 for GGG. Same as judges had it.
It was a very close fight. You need to educate yourself on what a robbery is. Also, even if it had been a robbery, it's not the fighter's fault.
There are degrees of robbery. Two judges having Golovkin up 115-112 in this fight is a robbery. When a fighter gets out worked for 8 clear rounds and has 150x the instagram followers as the other fighter, hangs on for their life in the final round, has the ref separate them for no reason after taking a hard body shot, and wins the "close fight", they have been the beneficiary of a robbery. Golovkin used to stand for what is right in the sport, and now he has the deck stacked in his favor. It's sad.

Lol, there was no robbery. It was a close fight. I had Derev on my card too. GGG got ahead early and pulled it out late. Fair enough to him. But yes, if Derev was the A side, he probably would have won on the cards. That's how it goes.
It was a robbery for sure, I think you have to be delusional to not see it. Did Golovkin even win a round between the third and the tenth? It's nothing new though, it has happened many times before.
