I know what you mean about a vacuum ,the camera work is terrible! cheers I'll have a look later ! OK I see the 2.57 & TBH it looks as though GGG was already over & Chenko sunk 2 really good macklin style shots into G...but the effect was fleeting indeed!
I just think we were blessed to witness these two guys.

I can see how it could, but in this instance there were deeper layers to it than just that. If somebody were merely disagreeing respectfully with me, I would be happy to debate with them as my thirteen years on here demonstrate a willingness to do. What @thesmokingm was doing was more insidious, and fueled by a malicious and twofold motive: 1) to partake in the sport that some have made of late of targeting mods and/or high-profile members such as @CST80 and myself, to undermine our every word and lurch out from the woodworks in attempts to score "gotcha!" points, nitpicking everything we say and policing the semantics of how we say it to needle us and derail the larger conversations, often in support of whatever agendas they individually align themselves with, in his case 2) attacking even the slightest criticism of GGG at every turn like a dutiful slavering fanboy, except indirectly, by jamming a wedge into the credibility of anybody that dares utter such criticism. (ironically, for the last few years I've mostly been on the receiving end of this from GGG haters, as they are, not coincidentally, all nut-huggers of Canelo, and I've never spared any criticism of the ginger).

smoke was treading a line for a while, and has been pushing the boundaries of what he can get away with. Me asking him to stop was his chance to not run off the cliff. His persisting constitutes harassment, and @CST80 and I (and the other mods) will always issue bans in those circumstances, whoever the victims of it may be (use the report button, people - we can only act on stuff that we're made aware of), certainly not limited to nor excluding ourselves in self-defense. If somebody reaches a point where they want to be left alone but another poster follows them around needling them, off they go. Period.

Was my language a little flowery, a little imbued with poetic license? Yeah, maybe, sure. But that's a pretty small thing over which to attach oneself to my dick like an obnoxious barnacle and refuse to shake loose.

6-6 or 7-5 GGG (more likely). Sergey looked like the fresher guy and I feel bad for him, because he was so close and fought his heart out, but using the usual scoring criteria, it just wasn't enough.
Was Sergey just that good? Was GGG ill? Is GGG over the hill? I guess it's a combination of all those things.

I think you're seeing things tbh. I just watched the highlights again and the only time he looked a little hurt was at the end of the 5th round.

Try watching a whole fight to place the critical moments in context rather than highlights before spouting an opinion.

Why would I have to do that? You can gauge wether someone is hurt by watching the highlights. Try actually watching the fighters reactions before spouting rubbish next time.

Um, no, you can't definitively say jackshit about the fight without having seen the entirety of it unedited. How do you know the part where GGG was hurt is even in the highlights? If the person who compiled them is a GGG fan, they probably wouldn't be.

There was definitely a round where Derevyanchenko landed a big body shot and GGG spent some time running. Don't remember which it was though.

This just goes to show how highly people rate GGG toughness, thw fact that Chenko was able to GGG take evasive action is a big deal. Its expected in most fights , but when the G man gets hurt its news....he's a tough guy in reality...they both are TBF.

That happened more than once. People need to stfu with these "show me where" comments until/unless the whole fight gets uploaded. Without the whole fight (or at least an entire specific round being discussed) available there's no point calling for anyone to pinpoint exactly when in a round something occurred. HL packages are nothing to go by for that kind of argumentation.

Yes, that was the most trouble GGG was in from a single shot ever, I think. Still very far from actually going down.
There were some strange rounds in this fight, for example round 10. Sergey started great, but in the end was quite rattled and really took some damage in that round. Still I gave him the round on activity, number of punches landed and how much time of the round was fought on his terms.
