Okay? You seem to be under some illusion that I'm a GGG fanboy.

When you get older your reflexes decrease, resulting in taking more hits. When you're older you can't recover as well from damage, and the brain slowly deteriorates even without taking hits. At this point even if GGG can be competitive against top fighters it's not worth the brain damage.

He was badly hurt in the 3rd.

His heart is 11 out of 10.

Apparently GGG is immune to the effects of aging

I don't know. I can only answer this question with hindsight.

Certainly don't want his name on BJS's record.

I would take a payday and a controversial loss in a Canelo 3 fight. Sad that shows he is unlikely to stop Canelo and obviously not get the nod on the cards.

However the man is ageing, Canelo potentially could school him now.

You're either as blind as a bat or just an obvious hater. Fighters start declining in their 30's, especially in their mid-late 30's.

    - The invincible Jones was 35 when he got knocked out by people he would have toyed with in his prime.
    - Ray Leonard was 35 when he lost to Terry Norris.
    - Pernell Whitaker was 37 when he got knocked out by Carlos Bojorquez.
    - Mike Tyson was roughly GGG's age when he got KO'ed by Danny Williams.

But go ahead and tell everyone that GGG at age 37 is exactly the same as he was in his prime.

Ray , Pernell and Mike were shot to bits at age 35. Golovkin ins't anywhere as past it as they were. Just cos he is 37 means nothing.
. Martinez , Calzaghe , Pacuaio , Froch , Hopkins , Vitali , Wlad were all doing well at 37. Cleverly was finished at 30 and had to retire. DeGale was done at 31.... Prime isn't a number. Its accumulation of hard fights. GG didn't start fighting top levellers until he met Jacob 3 years ago.

37 today isn't what it was 50 years ago for a fighter and if you take care of yourself like GGG does you can have a long shelf life.

No let Canelo put a beating on him first then retire .

Hopefully Canelo sends him out on his shield, that’s how it goes for warriors.
