    Finally watched the fight.

    Scored it 115-113 Golovkin

Quite a few close rounds. If SD got the nod or it was a draw, I wouldn't be fuming.

I'm a huge GGG fan. Although the man is slowing down fight by fight, he is still a very good fighter.

I had the same reaction as you did to that round. GGG looked like dog**** for the first minute or so of the 10th, quite frankly like he was close to going down from exhaustion. And while Sergey was merely letting his hands go and paintbrushing GGG to an extent, he was landing clean and slipping in some real effective work inbetween the blocked punches. I was confidently going to give that round to Sergey, then in the last minute and a half, GGG came roaring back, and landed the far cleaner punches, several of which visibly jarred Sergey, far more than Sergey's had jarred GGG. So I leaned in GGG's direction, by a **** hair. That round was nightmarish to score.

I think round 10 was the most important of the fight.

I gave it to SD but psychologically it was more pivotal for GGG. Golovkin coming back like that disheartened SD I think.

Then G took the 11th comfortably and the 12th (despite a game effort from SD) to seal the win.

Everytime I read an RBR concerning Golovkin it makes it seem as if Triple G is losing almost every round and getting beat up

GGG did not take the 11th comfortably. I had D-Chenko edging it. He outlanded GGG in total punches and power punches in that round. It was a razor close round and GGG has a case, but there was nothing comfortable about it for him.

Fair comment mate. I usually refer to punch stats a lot with hindsight.

In this case I had no doubt who won the round even if 'comfortable' was maybe the wrong word.

2/3 judges gave it to GGG.

You and I watched the same fight. I like both fighters and if it had gone the other way I'd have been delighted for Sergey, but with the knockdown I had Golovkin edge it by the tiniest of margins. I'm skipping all the trolling / faux outrage threads. It was enough for me to watch a fantastic fight for the second week in a row and t get a set of cards that were reasonably related to the actIon id just witnessed.

Are you just Choopid through & through ? You are a lonely troll ,its apparent you are not a boxing fan byt this post alone. No Necks post above is pretty accurate account imo.
GGG had a tough fight & just scraped through against a very skilled & game opponent. Chenko is one of the best unsung top MW around & this outing has showed this.

We think alike Holler, I like that! Maybe one day I'll be able to do poems similar to your good yourself.

I said a few weeks ago the 2 best/interesting fights of the year left were Taylor - Prograis and Joshua - Ruiz 2.

2 great bonuses we have had so far that wrongly slipped under the radar in Porter-Spence Jnr and GGG-SD.
