Lemiuex wasn't bigger than GGG and GGG didn't go 24 rounds with him.

GG didn't lose a round to Lemiuex and took hardly anything from him.

Most think Canelo lost to GG twice which means he took shots from a Lemiuex caliber puncher for 24 rounds and was never close to touching off the canvas.

So if GGG is hard to stop , that makes Canelo impervious to a stoppage loss.

I'd wait until after he faces Kovalev to start tooting his horn.

Well Kovalev is a LHW , i thought we were talking about MWs.

Prime Kovalev would sleep both Canelo and Golovkin imo.

How about this. GGG's power is overrated, especially this version, when he's not sitting down on his shots, I mean, he couldn't even KO Jacobs. This isn't a new angle from me, I've always said GGG's power was a little too hyped.

But yeah, totally agree, Kovalev destroys both then, possibly now.

A flush one on the chin from Julian Jackson would probably do the trick (flash knockdown). As he could put a rino to sleep with that one.

Theres a bunch! Hagler, Toney, McCallum (ko to the body ) McClellan, Monzon, Moore,Benn, ect! Is pretty ignorant to say nobody can ko him! He struggled with the likes of Canelo, Jacobs and SD! Imagine with these monsters! GGG can be hit clean really easy

In classic weight categories or modern?
I think Groves would have had the power to really damage ggg, if they fought in an era where they would have been the same weight class. I think McClellan would have given golovkin one hell of a fight. Again if Ggg and Callum Smith were from an era of original weight classes, I think size difference would have been too much. I guess you need to have boxed to understand that though. Smith ain't the best boxer ever but his sheer freaky size would be a nightmare. I think a young Eubank Sr (pre watson) would have been a nightmare for golovkin. Benn despite hitting harder I think would be suited for GGG.
If you want to go further back, I think Bob fitzsimons is notable as a big punched from the middleweight division, if memory serves me correct he was knocking out heavyweights after he finished going up in weights so can't say he couldn't get to golovkin. All this is baring in mind golovkin is one of my favourite fighters from this modern era, same as Canelo. They are both wicked talents that we are lucky to see. The middleweight division would be in a dark age without them in my opinion.

I believe any fighter can be KO'd by a big puncher, if they get caught clean with a punch they never saw. But Golovkin has one of the best chins since Hagler. Who could KO Hagler? Find that guy and that's the guy I'd pick to KO GGG as well.

GGG does have an atg chin. I remember Canelo on ***** street when he fought Cotto's brother, Cotto.. Canelo has better D but their chins are not comparable.

Lemieuxs power is on a whole different level to GGG, better puncher, no, but forgetting technique Lemieux is thee noticeable puncher out of them all at 160, he matches up well with the bangers like Benn, Jackson, all time bangers ! GGG is heavy handed, them boys are 1 punch territory

I kept hearing for years that Jacobs was a huge puncher by GGG fanboys , but now his power doesn't count anymore since he was beaten by Canelo?? That sounds about right :buenrollo:

McClellan? He had a wicked body shot and we saw for the first time ther other night how badly they hurt him. McClellan would land his cross, which I think GGG could take, I'm not sure about his follow through left hook to the body tho.

Fitz, same principle. Body punches. Also the fact Fitz was able to KO HWs.

Hopkins, but a flash knockdown. Bernard was good at getting people, out of rhythm and off balance and then capitalising. He could get a flash KD.
