I think it was great fight & Chenko was great, they both were. But TBH, I think Chenko on the night fought out of his skin, if he can get that again he has a chance. They are saying GGG was a bit off on the night?
You this kinda reminds me of the 1st Jeff Fenech fight against Azumah Nelson. Many, including me, thought Fenech got it but for Nelson being a Din King fighter, the rematch, well Azumah made short work of Fenech.I was really disappointed ,Fenech didn't seem able to get his full fizz back...hope this doesn't happen to Chenko.. especially if GGG does come back on form?
    Fenech ?

For some reason I didn't feel like scoring this fight, but the entire time it felt like a Derev. fight to me. Golovkin was hurt, got forced back, quite frankly took a beating and was in danger the entire fight. Derev. I think would definitely win a rematch.

Was really close, I had it 6-6 and Golovkin squeaking ahead through the KD. On the other hand if you could give points for beautiful footwork and junkyard dog gameness, Sergiy would have won.

I'd like to see a rematch. Thought it was a close fight and thought SD won. Probably because it was the first time I'd really seen GGG get beaten up this badly. Will have to watch again and score. If GGG really was sick, then I think it'll show in the rematch and I don't think he'll have nearly the same problems. I also feel like he wasn't focused at all in his training camp or during the first few rounds of the fight. He'll come in better prepared. He needs to work on his strategy a bit more. I feel like he was having a lot of success with power jabs on SD and could have probably relied on that to work the cut alone- not trying to over commit to it. I'm still upset that GGG doesn't really work people's bodies any more. Lastly, I feel like he can catch SD with uppercuts. He threw a few, but I'd like to see him set some good traps in his rematch.

No point in a rematch at this time , Golovkin can't get into this kind of thing at his age.

Lol, this will never happen. IBF ordered this fight. Only reason it happened.

Canelo prob think Golovkin is nice and cooked now. BJS called this fight to perfection and said it would age Golovkin a lot. He's prob right there too in which case expect Hearn to push for that fight sooner rather than later at 160 or 168.

Neither of them had any IBF titles. There was no obligation on the part of either to fight.

Canelo has probably rethought the trilogy and is making plans ... "after I destroy Kovalev, then I beat GGG by KO in the trilogy, and then I mop up Serg-whatsisname." I could see quite a lot that could go wrong in that.

Canelo moved on to a bigger challenge, GGG had no choice and almost paid the price for it.

We both know Canelo would have received very little credit from your ilk in beating Chenko.

But please continue your spin by all means.

probably will never happen but I think chenko Canelo would be a great fight. Two good technical boxers with decent (but not great) power at 160. Is definitely watch the fight but Chenko is going to have to beat someone before it can happen. After seeing Charlo get outclassed by a slick southpaw, I think Chenko would handle him easily. Chenko Andrade would be a decent fight although I still want to see BJS and Andrade meet in the ring. It’s a shame the first fight was cancelled due to carelessness on the part of BJS.

The fight was for the IBF title lol. When there wasn't an order, GGG fought Steve Rolls!

GGG is in the twilight of his career. I'm not sure if he's fighting for legacy or money at this point. If I had to guess I'd say money.

If the money was right I think he'd rematch with SD. It's about the benjamins. How big would a rematch be? Would the casual fan buy the fight?

SD is good but hes not a household name. Hell, the average household cannot say his name.

I repeat, there was no obligation for either of them to fight each other. You are somewhat thick.

Agree. At this point he gets paid the same no matter who he fights thanks to the DAZN contract. Its probably mostly up to DAZN who he fights next.
