It's time for Golovkin vs Andrade

Golovkin is not shot, not by any means. The word has lost the meaning it once had. He is however past his best and will continue to decline, now is the best time for the Andrade fight, Golovkin still has enough left that it would be a meaningful win for Andrade and obviously would make a big case for canelo 3 should he win. The time is right, thoughts?

 

I would love to see that fight.
After watching the Chenko fight several times now the biggest difference with GGG is his declined activity level.
Was he "horribly ill" the week before the fight? Time will tell. But lets see GGG in with Andrade.

 

I pick Andrade now, although maybe Golovkin could squeak a close decision courtesy of some favourable cards to set up the trilogy. What I saw over the weekend suggests to me that Golovkin is, if not shot, very badly on the decline.

 

I agree mostly, a shot fighter would not be fighting 12 competitive rounds with dereveynchenko though. Ali was shot when he fought Holmes, Haye was shot when he fought Bellew the 2nd time, the word is too easily thrown around. Golovkin is past it yes but not shot.

 

It's the best fight at 160 now and sets up a winner vs Alvarez fight down the line

 

Nah, F alvarez. I hope Kov disposes of him in violent fashion. I like Canelo but you aren't beating him on the cards.

I favor Andrade at this point.

 

At this point yes but its not a forgone conclusion, still a big chance Golovkin gets a win. I'd give Andrade a slight favour, 55/45 over Golovkin right now.
