Does Usyk vs. Chisora make sense right now???

    For those who don't know, Usyk's opponent SPONG, just failed his doping test, and Eddie is scrambling to find a new opponent for Usyk's saturday fight! Chisora is in the same position as Usyk, as his opponent has pulled out. Can Eddie Hearn make it happen for Saturday? Will Chisora take this fight? who wants to see this.

    Chisora wanted his headline gig, he can go to the US and get beaten up by Usyk on the main card as opposed to by Parker as a co-headliner :)

    As good as Usyk I don’t think his handlers want his first HW fight to be against a rugged gatekeeper such as Chisora.. Although Usyk is miles ahead of Chisora skill-wise there could be a Salido-Loma scenario played out in the ring..

    Not sure about a Loma - Salido scenario but I do tend to agree with you about it not being an ideal first fight at heavyweught for Usyk.

    After what happened to AJ I'm sure Hearn won't find anyone good or in shape. :smile:

    P.S. Chisora is completely unrealistic — he's on another continent and they also need him for the Taylor vs. Prograis fight.

    Spong tested positive for clomiphene, don't know what it is, but sounds pretty potent LOL, EDIT** its the same PED that Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones were popped for in UFC
