I have no idea if you are being serious, but seriously, man, hang in there.

I don't think I had a good day until I as 23. Things sputtered along up and down until I was 27. Since then they have been on an upward trajectory. I am 45 in a couple of weeks and wish I could live another 300 years since things are pretty cake at this point. When people ask me how I am doing, I always tell them "I never had a bad bad yet," which is true if you just go by the last few years.

Point is, anyone can turn things around, and whereas it sounds hokey, attitude has a lot to do with it. If you just have bad luck, I guarantee that will change by law of averages. Your good luck is coming.

One other piece of unsolicited advice...the human brain is not genetically hardwired to be happy all the time, so if you feel bad, don't add an extra layer of depression by worrying about it. Happiness works like a drug--it wears off and you need more and more of whatever your thing is--money, sex, food, whatever--to get to the same state of happiness. Everyone suffers this and people who go on Facebook and try to convince you that they are doing great all of the time are basically full of **** and the most miserable people in the world. Remember that IT IS ALL RIGHT TO BE DISSATISFIED with things.

You probably aren't going to care, but these were intended as some very sincere words of encouragement from someone who had been there. And hey, we always got boxing.

As for Usyk's situation, this ****ing sucks. Sprong would have been a perfect first fight at heavy.

of course I would care, you took time out of your day to write a touching post like that to me and I highly appreciate that.

I am glad you have had an upward trajectory as thst gives me hope, ive been on a seriously steep downwards trajectory for many years.

its just been a rough week for me, and havent been on any vacation in several years and I just wanted this one to work out lol but several things went wrong and the spong usyk change was the last straw in whats been a crazy year

realy doesnt matter how much money I have the stars were aligned for this trip to fail.

I know for sure everyone has issues and most are one step away from depression I just feel Ive had highly unusual misfortune as of late and ive had my fair share of difficulties throughout life, but if things got better for you I hope it gets better for me.

Im really upset i lost this trip, and im broken, but I have no choice except to keep living my life

Yeah, Dawejko would be one of those usual suspects for a replacement like this.

I would prefer Kauffman though, as he (like Joey) would give Usyk some rounds and probably does better with the casuals due to his deceiving record.
Witherspoon wouldn't last that long against Usyk probably.

Feel for you mate and believe me I've had a rough few years.I don't believe in luck and in my case I never thought anything had would happen until I lost my sister to cancer and my Dad getting Alzheimer's and I dealt with it in the worst way possible.I do think about my sister whenever I'm down and tell myself that she had no choice in the matter.
Weird how bad **** seems to come along like London buses and you're right no amount of money can change this or help.

Now watch him get a 6 month ban and then move on with his career like nothing happened.
Hit 'm where it hurts... 6 months out, that'll teach 'm!

This is probably why Usyk should not waste his time at HW 'warming up'. Fights get cancelled all the time from injuries and PEDs, or as Fury found out, injuries can create issues too. There are less replacement options at heavy. You can end up wasting half a year for nothing. He's not young, just call out the top fighters and try to land one. If you can't beat the tier below Fury/Wilder/Joshua/Ruiz, how are you going to win a championship, really.

Look at the Takam fight they set, it was a complete waste of time. Blown up cruiser statured opponent that would not in any way prepare Usyk for the super heavies. If it's Joey D, it's even more absurd, that guy is actually listed as 5'10. So what, Usyk is testing the waters at HW with a fat super middleweight who is a lot smaller than cruisers he left behind? If his goal is to fight the big three (Ruiz he's already prepared for), he should at the very least fight guys around 6'5 to see how he copes with the size. Of course he already fought Joyce, spars Wlad, so he knows. Why waste your career on bull**** when you're already getting on and have miles on the clock.

Put him in with someone big, like Gerald Washington. The guy just KOd Helenius, could be a decent fight.....

Exactlly. Just go. Just go to see the guy fight and perhaps even meet the dude. Dont let it get you down. Just go.

Just try not to sucker punch one of the trainers at the weigh-in. I hear that can really mess up a card.

It will be interesting to see what weight Usyk weighs-in at and how he looks at that weight.

For those looking for some serious challenge to Usyk, this fight is about Usyk seeing for he feels and performs at that weight. His boxing skills are obviously going to be there but can he move and react the way he needs to. In short it's a tune-up.

People make light of it but the list of people who have successfully move up into the heavyweight class is a short one.

People will mention Holyfield. Holyfield was a true warrior but let's face it, he was a walking petri dish. I dont think they were even testing back then.
